What's up with the patch download?

Just opened up my launcher and it went into an update bar immediately. I can't tell how big the update/patch is and I can't quite the host (I'm on mac). What do? I heard the patch is only 1-2GBs, but still, if I want to quit the host and download it later, it should let me do so...

    The launcher its self was updated today. The patch for the game has not been pushed yet but will be 1 to 2GB.

    You click on the cog in the upper right corner of your post. If it's the first post of a thread, the cog appears next to the thread title.

    Oh awesome, that was a pretty quick response, thanks guys. Do you guys know how large the launcher update is? ...If I really needed to can I force quit it without messing up my ESO?

    Gina said it will be ~1-2 GB.

    Took me about 7 seconds to update the patcher..

    The launcher update should be very small. The launcher is only about 50MB.

    Hmmmm... this is the only post I have seen about the LAUNCHER update only.
