Why can't the Shadow silk Gem be added to the costumes tab too?
That which we obtain to cheap we esteem to lightly, it is dearness only that gives everything its value.

    Because it's a disguise, not a costume. ZOS has said that behind the scenes disguises (which were intended to be used only during associated quests) work very differently from costumes (which are rewards for reaching a certain vet level, or for completing a quest etc). They've also said that they're looking at a way to add them to the costumes collection in the future. The way that seems reasonable to me is to have a costume version of each disguise in the game, which is unlocked by completing the specific quest where the disguise is intended to be used.

    I know they say it isn't a disguise or costume yet, you use it to disguise yourself as a goblin to do the quest.....

    I would actually like them to add a Disguise tab as well....many people like to keep their disguises, this would be a good feature to have.

    I think they said something about adding it in the future. I think the difficulty arises because the disguises change your status with different places. (Make the mobs neutral to you while wearing the disguise). I haven't collected these myself (no space - I am such a hoarder) but I would be very happy to have a disguise tab!

    Ok, I get that it's not technically the same as the current disguises, but couldn't they just make a new disguise and give it the same skin as the goblin outfit? Then tie it to some sort of achievement (say completion of the quest that you use the goblin outfit in). It wouldn't affect any of the quest objectives and be purely cosmetic while the original outfit would still take up inventory space and make some mobs non hostile as it always has.

    Yes it would be difficult to convert the current outfits but what's stopping them from just making a new one with the old skins?
