Crystal Shards takes longer to cast than tool tip says?

Hello.
The tool tip says it takes 1 second to cast.
I did a totally unscientific test using the timer on my phone, but I'm 99.9% (The missing .1% is because the test was unscientific) certain that Crystal Shards takes longer than 1 second to fire.
The time it takes me, according to my unscientific test, is 1.6 seconds.
Any other sorcerers out there, feel free to leave your opinions and your unscientific test times.

Iago✭✭✭✭✭the cast time doesn't bother me too much. enjoy I can fire pretty close to 20 of those before I need to refill my magicka bar with a potion.That which we obtain to cheap we esteem to lightly, it is dearness only that gives everything its value.
