ok I have a lvl 28 nord dk. ima levwel him all up but was wondering offhand what would a nord dk be best at? I play as a dps guy and magic but wonder what nords are known for

    On a more serious note, a stamina-based Nord DK (2H and either Bow/ 1H & S/ DW) in mostly medium armor will do well.

    Well my guild leader has been a Nord DK since day one and kicks a lot of butt in PVP with his two handed sword stamina build. :grin:

    Pretty much all of the Nord's passives revolve around health and armor.
    Though Rugged is the only one that really sets them apart from other tanking races.

    They make good tanks, but aside from that are pretty underwhelming as a whole. If you're a min-maxer, you'd be better off choosing a different race like Imperial.

    Nords can effectively DPS, any race can really. But you won't be topping the charts by any means.

    Do never underevaluate 5% damage mitigation. Beside that, the removal of caps in 1.6 favorizes other races with percentage based increases of cap-less attributes. But general damage mitigation still strong if you go for tanky builds.

    Probably the second best tank race behind pay to win imperial and definitely the best tank class. You sir are well set up to be a tank.
    I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

    hmm well if only second best for tank they must be first best at something. I hate to have to start over at level one but I really wanted this guy to be a magic dps but I am guessing this is not even close to be the class imn looking for for that? im lvbl 29 and well nopt a tank so not sure

    You can pick any race and any class you want and be successful in the game. Keep in mind, what you "LIKE" to do is the key ingredient. If you are a hardcore pvp'er, then build your class around those stats and play style.

    I don't typically see a DK specializing in magic damage, but slap on a destro staff and light armor and you can't go far wrong. Player skill and character builds matter a lot more than race or class, so if you want to be a magic dps as a Nord DK then go for it.
