Destruction Staff: Weapon Damage or Spell Damage?

I vaguely remember there were some changes but could not find them in the patch notes. So please help me out: is it spell damage or weapon damage for destruction staff active abilities?

Since patch 1.6 all staff skills scale with spell damage.
