Thoughts on needed changes for werewolves?

I feel and I know a lot of players out there would agree with me in the fact that the werewolf form should be a toggle. There seems to be so much work put into the werewolf skill line for it last for such a little amount of time and the amount of skill points we have to invest into the skill line to master it makes it more of an actual class and playstyle rather than what it is.

Sure, if you're in constant combat you can sustain the form indefinitely but I found a major issue with that is I cant take the time out of grinding mobs to maintain the form to loot chests, barrels, etc. or talk to NPCs without skipping all dialogue just so that I can run back into battle so I don't lose the transformation. I cant exit dungeons nor look at my skills long because the timer still counts down while doing this. The form doesn't make you op in any way, and can still be killed with relative ease in PVP and having no range attack other than pounce and being melee and so stamina dependent can be weaknesses in themselves and with the poison damage taken along with the fighters guild perks, a werewolf is an easy target. It could easily be made where the transformation would still occupy the ultimate slot but be a toggle so you can transform at will.

In PVP you can still be caught off guard if your not in werewolf form as it takes time to transform and in some cases you could be killed before making it to your wolf form. You could even make the werewolf negatives affect your human form as well as your wolf form to help any issues with balance that you may see, which I believe they should if this ability is to be a toggle. Not only from a combat standpoint but any RPers out there that would like to add a werewolf element to their RP cant fully do that due to the fact that your form doesn't last for long at all. With the werewolves current damage, a toggle form would be perfect and I don't see how it would be op in any aspect of the game. You would have to rework feral pounce morph, pack leader morph and a couple passives but none of that seems out of perspective.

I would love to see my werewolf form become part of my playstyle rather than a DPS buff every now and then for a very short amount of time. Only other issue I can see with using this ability as a toggle is that you would have to be able to gain weapon and armor levels while changed which again I don't see that being a complicated change.

I want to get everyone's opinion on the matter

    I forget that I am a werewolf most of the time. The ultimate is so useless that I'm fairly certain I'm going to cleanse it and be done.

    There is almost no point considering how little we get in return for being a wolf brother.

    Yeah for a 20+ skill point ultimate you would expect way more

    If the werewolf form was a toggle i could actually toggle the form up, then go in stealth and wait until my prey(pvp) is close then punce on them and kill them down in an instant before they can even think "What just happened"
    If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.

    A true gamer will think of all the possible outcomes and execute the one that is the hardest to accomplish.

    yes that would be awesome. currently if we were to be running around a pop ww form and a archer was stalking us, that's what would happen to us.

    Such a pity... I can think around a hundred of different ways of starting a kill with pounce as werewolf.

    Ofc that's only if the form was a toggle...... god damn it....

    I have to agree with you there. the silence is the worst part. I would love an explanation oh why they cant make the form a toggle.

    I can see were you are coming from with that. with the current state of things I can maintain my ww form indefinitely so long as im in combat attacking and getting hit. with that being said what about being a wolf outside combat, are we suppose to be ok spending so many points on this skill line for it to only be a "when its convenient" damage buff for a very short time? I love my werewolf and will continue to use it either way just the most logical way to fix all issues surrounding the ww is to make it a toggle, that way they can stop trying to get pack leader morph to work properly, call of the pack to work properly and the devour animation wouldn't matter as much at all

    I just got WW the other day.. and the pounce is bugged. It takes soooo damn long to get ultimate so I can get creamed just doing light and heavy attacks.....so I can try to level it up. I am VR11 so I am sure it may be a bit easier at lower levels.. and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make it so we can hit another button besides the Ultimate button to turn back human... the game can be buggy at times and I do not know how many times my dumb ass clicked the ultimate to turn into WW and then turned it off because it takes a few seconds to start.... in the heat of battle...it definitely is not a OSS.

    Should give ww +50% poison dig when out of form so people stop taking it for the free out of form regen.

    It'd be nice if we had a couple of tanking options for werewolves, because especially with the recent change to allow Blood Rage to take effect while in WW form, it'd be awesome if we had a taunt. Like if they fed the current Pack Leader buff into the Call of the Pack passive, gave Pack Leader some extra mitigations, and turned it into a tanky werewolf, with all the fear effects (including those from Roar) reversed into taunts. (Though also effected by Howl of Agony)

    Pounce could use a snare, and they oughta just straight up double the timer, and the time gained by Devour. It's really annoying needing a lunchbreak every 10 seconds or so. As for the RPers who want a toggle (I'm not saying everybody who wants it a toggle is an RPer) is there a way it could be added to their costume collection for just that character?

    Additionally, I've got a decent amount of stamina, and stamina regen, and I am always running out of it as a werewolf. The skills cost too much of it. Even with the inherent WW bonus to stamina regen, it doesn't come back fast enough to use the skills more than a couple times. After using a potion, generally one skill's worth, I generally must resort to using heavy attacks, which have too long an animation for precious little gain. The werewolf skills should be no more expensive than normal weapon skills. An increase in time would help, so would a reduction in the time it takes to perform a full heavy attack, but a reduction in the stamina costs for the skills is needed.

    P.S. Do armor sets/bonuses/effects effect in WW form?

    The only use of werewolf form is solo delves and public dungeons. That's it. Therefore, it is a useless ultimate, and a useless 20 point investment.
    End the tedious inventory management game.

    Werewolf mode should simply be a keybind... like pressing "H" to summon or un-summon your horse!

    I got devour.... I am a truck with teeth of rage.... I hit with force and the devastation path I plow makes it hard to go back and get all the loot from the blood bath I ripped through the country side... Werewolves are so much more fun than vampires....when you finally get the ultimate enough...for the seconds that it lets you be.... I think they should still let you toggle it and not untoggle it by mistake.. I am a ***... but it is so hard not to get excited and ht it again just to make sure ...when the blood lust raises your hackles and you just want to howl at the moon...or sun..as the tamerial time may be..hee hee hee... I do think that it could be scaled a bit so it is not so timed and OP at the same time.... It IS HELLAFUN!!! I am hooked... I go around to mob areas and pick them off one by one to raise my Ultimate and then I clear out the rest with my fangs and claws.... K....gota go cause more destruction....
