I'm grateful that they are looking into this finally (As stated in ESO Live), but what took so long? People have been clamoring for this for a long time. But first you decided to Nerf the only forms of real XP for a vr14 while implementing the new bugged grind machine a.k.a. The Champion System.
And ZOS also stated (in so many words) that the alliance point system is meant to be a grind. It'll be interesting to see what kind of buffs these forms of vet XP get with the thoughts that you want parts of the game to be a grind. I agree that no one should attain 3600 CP within a year, but there is a difference between a grind and a long term goal. That's why Craglorn XP should also be restored and a daily CP cap should be in place. This would meet your expectation of the CS being a long term goal, and ours to not be forced to grind more than necessary on Alts. But I'm not holding my breath.

Are you saying that changing a few numerical exp values behind the scenes is comparable to designing and releasing major system changes and on two new platforms?

With PVP experience I agree, but dungeons and trials? If people are able to get most CP´s there, then I don't see how this needs a buff?
ZO should look into rewarding CP´s for one time opportunities, such as Cadwells, Story related quests, reaching 50 in skill lines etc.
Are people able to get most CPs in dungeons and trials? Based on the amount of XP they give, I would have thought it would be probably the second least effective playstyle for gaining CPs (after PvP - as I don't actually PvP I could be wrong about that one).I'm grateful that they are looking into this finally (As stated in ESO Live), but what took so long? At this moment the most bang for your buck so to speak is from completing Caldwell's Silver and Gold. Repeateble 4 man dungeons, trials, vet DSA, SO, PvP all give very poor XP to move you along in the CP ladder, even with enlightenment applied unfortunately. So if you have an alt in vet ranks still needing to complete Caldwells content, you can get CPs for your main quite nicely while you are at it.l.cortesieb17_ESO wrote: »Is levelling an alt giving good CPs?

Evaluating the systems and assigning appropriate values is non-trivial. It might sound simple. "Well, just fix it." But, mindlessly cranking up numbers can result in all kinds of further more destructive issues.

Thanks for answering^^
Now I'll go a bit off topic, how much it takes to grind from lvl 1 to 50?
