I finished the Ebonheart storylines, I'm onto my third Vet zone. I am still a V1 and and i'm not even 1/3 into my exp bar.I need a faster way to level. Any tips or great grind spots I can hit that have not already been nerfed? This is taking the fun out of the game. Pretty soon ill be V1 fighting some V5

Wait until you get to VR10/11 and are completely out of Quests, Craglorn has seen it's XP nerfed so many times you might very well never hit VR14 now, so sad.

oh boy if you think that takes a lot of time, wait to see the 3,600 CP ;)

PD: If I do remember right from v1 to v10 there is a zone per each vet level you just need to clean the entire zone, so make sure to complete all the quests and kill all the world bosses in each zone. Most of the grinding spots were nerf.

Yea I got some advice. Stop skipping side quests and stop skipping fights.
"And it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days. The fact that the word "monetized" exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."

How on earth did you manage that?

My first toon hit V1 in Coldharbor, my second when she had hardly started The Rift (she had too much fun on Guild outings) and my third just last week when she had gone about 1/3 through Coldharbor, but she skipped about 80% of Eastmarch as she had outleveled mobs and I wanted to quest somewhere where she could get mob XP as well.

If you complete all quest hubs/WB/Dungeons/dolmens, there is no way you can be underleveld for a zone.

As for grind spots, each zone should have a place or three with a good conentration of overland mobs. So I'd say find one of those in Glenumbra or Stormhaven.

I did all of the main quests, world boss, solo dungeons and dolemans. I didn't think i would have to grind out every last side quest to make it this time. this is horrible lol. iv almost got 4 cps up till right now.

If you reached the third alliance, you should have already fought VR5 enemies.

I normally don't say this... but I don't believe this story.

He means the third zone in Silver (Rivenspire), not the Gold zone.

    Weeell I can't read. Apologies.

But still, it is strange that you're VR1 in the third zone. Have you done any quests at all beside Cadwell's objectives? World bosses, delves and dolmens used to give good XP - in fact, I got almost to VR4 doing nothing but those in Silver - but they no longer do. Quests are now the most important source of XP.

Always seem to run half a level behind the next starting zone, even after completing all the quests, with an aid of an addon in the past (when they still worked). There were times I could not get all dolmens or bosses as there were a lack of players on the maps to help.
There are quite a few quests outside of the main quests (side quests). Also quests tied in with some of the group dungeons. Cannot understand how you ended up so far behind.

Just focus on turning every icon white, you get a chunk of XP not just for the quests, but for clearing an area. I recommend mixing it with Cyrodiil dailies and dungeons if you're okay with that kind of activity, it will make levelling more fun. Running from one point of interest to another can get quite tedious.

That would get you about 80% through a VR a while back. Since they gutted the XP you now have to do virtually every quest in each zone. Grind quests or mobs....just keep grinding like a true VR

Yeah i looked at my incoming exp in this zone each side quest is about 39 000 exp. Each single mob enemy is about 1 600 exp. So I figure with the amount of enemies you kill along the quests. its by the best way to go.

I was making great time too. I'm a regarded sorc. I was dual wielding my way through all of the quests. Then when it came to world bosses and dolemans i was able to solo even at V1 by hiding behind my pets with a rest staff. Walking in with my ult up and then quickly earning a second or third to do all of my work.

Those sound like Enlightened numbers, so you are getting 1600exp towards a Champion Point, but only about 400 xp towards your next vet level.

Enlightenment should effect all XP, imo. 30% of a VR level per day would fix it!

You are definitely skipping a heck of a lot of content and not killing as many mobs as you should to help with leveling.

I entered Silver at Vet 2. I am now in the Vet2 zone @ Vet6. For the most part, I explore and gain mats and do quests with only 1hr of grinding out my daily 1CP allowance before continuing on.

I am not going to be having any difficulty reaching Vet14 the way I am going. Heck, to keep things interesting, I am still using my V1 armor and only repair it if going up against a difficult WB or Dolmen on my own.
Far too many characters to list any more.

i started silver at 45, hit second silver area at 49. i already have a v14 and i did every quest i could find with him. I really didnt want to have to do that all over again with a new char. But with the nerfs to grinding i guess thats just the way it has to be.

stop ignoring side quests and world bosses and Dark anchors..

all of those and the main are still pretty much a full vet level per zone...

I play every class in every situation. I love them all.
