is killing a craglorn veteran 11 - mob yield 144 XP to all of us or only to me?

I made a little test , although i noticed this problem quite a time ago, but went on with questing because my own goal was to complete some achieveemnts in hope the problem would change soon...

i killed a mob now and aggroed 6 more in craglorn and i wrote down my xp before and after the kill ( i escaped with invisiblity as Nightblade) and my gained xp was only 144. is that real?

PLEASE, PEOPLE, tell me that YOU HAVE the very same yield... other wise ZOS/BETHESDA, PLEASE , PLEASE , PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T PENALIZE MY ACCOUNT, WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG??? IT'S MY FORUM CRITICISM ? OR WHAT is it? MY TOON LOOKING TO UNDECENT?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE I CAN EARN IN CROGLORN. HOW LONG DO I NEED TO LEVEL UP STILL? I'D LIKE VERY MUCH TO AT LEAST GET ONE TOON TO LEVEL 14, I'M NOW LEVEL 11....

    I wish I could have LOL'd that. Not to laugh at you, but to just mark that I laughed :p . Sorry for the news.......it isn't just you. The XP gets worse the farther up you go.

    I've always grimaced at the exp you get from mobs in Public group dungeons (which i always solo) its like 43xp a kill or something silly or like 9 xp for killing something squishy...

    I got 20, from a lvl 50 Coldharbor mob. Gonna take a while to get to VR2!

    lvl in cadwells gold you get up to 8x the xp. let those pesky questnerds claiming for every grind to be nerfed eat what they aimed for and overrun their questhubs.

    Unfortunately they beat the xp in craglorn and public dungeons with the nerf tree. People were gaining xp too fast by grinding and they responded by taking the easy route out... kill the xp per mob. Nevermind that if you were to fight the same mob in an instance it would be worth x7 the xp.

    I remember the first time I noticed how big the difference was in a public dungeon. I just left and didnt finish it. The content was very challenging (at least to solo it) and the xp was so ridiculously low I just couldn't justify it. I will just go back and get the achievements/skill points when I can just roll through it. Still no xp, but at least the risk vs reward works out.

    Sooo...I'm a v8 and regularly get 16-1800xp per kill in a particular place/area?

    This. If you're XPing/grinding at VR12+, you're wasting your time. Roll an alt, grind to v10, then go back and do all the dolmen/WBs/objectives/etc. Rinse repeat.

    OP: What level is your toon? And what mob? Welwa?

    I can test with a V1, a V5 and a V14 to see if the XP yield is the same, if you would like. Though only when I get home tonight.

    What is very sad is that at VR14 I can go to certain VR1 areas and get better xp, certain mobs are 186+ xp a kill, VS Craglorn and in particular, Spellscar.

    Also since the Mobs are such low level they can be killed ultra fast and with a good respawn rate it becomes a great grinding area.

    ZOS fix Craglorn, we need 200 xp a kill minimum...... C'mon..

    200? If you go to the V10 zone the mobs give 1250-1850xp EACH kill. I think the last time I tried Spellscar the mobs were like 240 each? I think your numbers might be off somewhere but they need to be much higher than 200.

    I suspect your add-on might be calculating enlightenment into your XP numbers. Most of the mobs in VR10 areas I've seen only award 310 or 465XP (a little more if you are grouped).

    Buy Mara RIngs +10% exp
    Buy Subcription +10% exp
    Find a buddy +10% exp
    Buy potions (i think ~+10% exp)

    so 1 mob 170+40%=238 exp.All is ok

    Stay out of Craglorn. Unless you're scavenging for nirnstuff or doing trials, do whatever quests you want then forget it exists.

    I thought Mara's rings only worked up to lvl 50 anyway. I destroyed mine because the person I shared rings with quit ESO long ago so it was pointless.

    Used to be, when you hit 50, your advancement would be tied to getting Veteran XP, which didn't count for the rings. Once, I think 1.4 hit, they revised it so the Vet Ranks advanced on standard XP, and the rings started working post 50. Now the rings should affect XP gain, but I don't know if they affect CP gain.

    Yeah, the matched character needs to be online. I've seen reports that they need to be in the same zone, but I've never really tested it to see what the limitations are.
