Ravager Set Mechanics

Hi,
Just want to know if the ravager set proc (Your melee attacks have an 8% chance to increase Weapon Damage by 600 for 10 seconds) can proc on every damage u done (like every Caltrop tick or each people u hit with steel tornado) ?

Set description "Your melee attacks" is not very clear.

Nor caltrop tick nor steel tornado is melee attack

I know only one 100% way to check if skill is melee attack. Use it by redguard and check combat log for adrenaline rush proc.

It procs on:
light /heavy attacks with anything but staves and bow,
bash
stamina based skills with a maximum range of 8m
stamina based charges
caltrops

It can only proc on the first hit of channeled skills and dots.
