Invincible Guards Ruin My Immersion!

ZOS, these guards need to be killable, it's ruining my immersion and RP experiences. I know immersion is your top priority, so I just wanted to lay it out in clear terms.

i wonder why entire tamriel rely's on me killing the bad guys while the guards are immortal..

It's even worse when they have the cheating abillity "Death by Lag". That's flipping table, rage quit, keyboard cracking frustrating

I believe Guards are invincible in large part because there is no Guard v. Thieves Guild v. Morag Tong pvp yet. Once the pvp element arrives, I have a feeling they're going to dial bag on the guards. Players are much more brutal than a guard.

Ah, this old chestnut. This came up when 1.6 was on the PTS.

Players wiping out towns ruin my immersion

Who knows, maybe all guards are retired VR100 soldiers that none of us can become in this timeframe yet.
Maybe 20 DLC's and lvl caps down the line we might be in line with them :P
We might feel like veteran soldiers in our own view, but in the fictional game world, we're only wannabe heroes, which we are - we have only played for not more than a year - that does not make a seasoned soldier (if we talk about RP).

Talking out of my ass here, but that's how i justify it for myself personally. Nobody talks about the exploits and adventures of the guards and what they used to be, maybe they are divines themselves, just taken mortal form and mingling around us because they have nothing better to do - how do we know?
