Need some help, feel like I'm doing it wrong...

Recently hit lvl 50 Provisioning...when doing my daily crafting writs, I always seem to have to take a picture of my writ along with the ingredients for the said writ. This is due to having all my prov. mats on a Provisioning alt...have 0 room for all these mats along with herbs, and enchanting etc. mats. What do you guys/gals do when it comes to remembering what mats you need for your writs? Do you use a add-on?

And question #2, is there a way to see my known recipes without interacting with a cooking fire?

Thanks for any help my friends..be safe!

There's a limited number of recipes at any given level and writs always ask for the same few. I give my characters 10 or 20 of each and I don't have to worry about it for a month. Provisioning is ridiculously easy, both levelling and writs (except when I don't have Citrus Malt/Lemon Flower Mazte recipe. Anyone on EU can sell me one?)

I don't think so, but Sous Chef will show you if a recipe you find is known by any of your alts and what recipes each ingredient is used in. Makes looting easier.

First, to see what ingredients what recipe needs, use the following guide to print out the recipes, then you will know what you need if you know the food or drink being asked for:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1id92dghezDm5XpXxoMyAzbm2eE3TaNhj5M17OuhJBKE/pubhtml#

    Now some keys to efficiency:

TBH, if a Writ asks for an item, I make 12 of them with my higher level Provisioner then send them to the Alt (my alts are L4 and don't have the skill points to unlock the provisioning passives that give more portions). I have 8 characters, 6 of whom are doing Provisioning Writs everyday. I rarely make any food for them, I already have them in my bags. This is because the items asked for tend to repeat over and over again. Maybe once a week I do some cooking.

Inventory Insight is good (if it's still current) for seeing the Inventory of another character.

Here is a hint for Bag Space, and its a nice one if you already have a horse or, you have the Imperial Edition and can buy a horse for 1Gold. Start upgrading the bag space on your horse. Soon you will have all the room you need.

Also, I use the bank now to store Provisioning Mats, as we only need about 50/55 slots now for Provisioning Mats. Heck you probably only need 20 slots to make 90% of what your going to be asked to make from Writ quests, especially if your only using one character for this, or all your provisioners are at the same level.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I use Khrill Crafting Post It addon. Whenever you are at a crafting table and have a Crafting Writ active, it shows what you have to make and your progress towards completion.

As far a keeping ingredients on a mule, I quickly found that the provisioning writs repeat every few days so at a specific level, the # of mats I have to keep either on my character or in the bank is actually very few.

Pretty much this. Writs only ever ask for green items, too, so don't bother with pre-crafting blues or purples.

It's also worth noting that you don't have to have crafted the food/drink yourself in order to hand in the writ: it just has to be player-crafted rather than dropped or purchased from a vendor.

This, combined with the passives that give you 4 items for each ingredient you use, makes provisioning writs the most profitable writs in the game.

My level 50 writs have asked for:

    Argonian Saddle-Cured Rabbit (meat)
Fresh Apples And Eidar Cheese (fruit)
    Pickled Carrot Slurry (vegetable)

    Arenthian Brandy (alcoholic)
    Khenarthi's Wings Chai (tea)
    Sipping Imga Tonic (tonic)

So I've had to use Cheese, Apples, Small Game, Carrots and Saltrice for food, Jasmine, Honey, Lemon, Ginko and Surilie Grapes for drinks.

Two of the foods and two of the drinks have one common ingredient, so I need just these ten ingredients in all and they aren't hard to get (once you realize you have to kill rabbits for small game).
