DK VS NB which one do you think is better for both pve and pvp currently?

Like the topic said, i just want to know guys your opinion about these two classes, for both PVE , means that dps , tank and healer properly, thought healer position seems unfair for dks, however ,with the buff of ingenious shied (30% healing increase), dks are able to compete with NB i think.
For pvp, it is just simple as we know how to compare them already.
So just discuss these two classes, while just forget Temps and Sorcs at this moment, as Templars right now are all using a little bit beam and Sors are thought to be over nerfed, they all have special situation right now.

    This is subject to basic builds, you can pull off a good Dragonknight Tank build in PvP for example, but it won't be anywhere near as good as a Nightblade Sap Tank, you can pull off great DPS as a Nightblade in PvE, but Dragonknights still got the best DPS around, for healing, don't ever use a Dragonknight to heal... You're relying on a +30% Heal Buff and the crappy Restoration Tree skills, it'll work..... But it's just... Weird... I'll always prefer my DK for PvP and my NB for PvE, at the current moment in game, Nightblades just have *** for healing, my Sap Tank is fun and all... But I don't kill anyone.

    I would agree with panda... but DK's will always be the most awesome class in the game... why? Because they are DK's and nothing more needs to be said.

    I would have to say sorc worst in PvE and worst in PvP atm. Thats not to say there are not some pretty dam terrific sorcs out there.

    Sap Essence, one of the Nightblade skills, gives them the ability to run into 20 people or 20 mobs and just spam it, it deals decent damage, but it also heals the player, so it's an AoE damage and AoE heal, and it's a pretty strong heal, so if you do what I do, and stack a bunch of HoTs then spam Sap Essence, it's nearly impossible to kill a Sap Tank until you spread out and heal debuff them... Ask @Galalin for clarification :wink:

    Sap nb are a pain in the ass in PvP when you have a buncha noobs like myself trying to beat them down close range. Although in not sure how it does now in 1.6. Good for grinding but not quite as good i would say as a DK for single target boss fights in PvE and yet a well played sap nb can still be decent if plaed well in single target PvP.

    And yes panda was a massive pain in the ass to kill in PvP

    The days that a Sap Tank could spam a decently damaging and decently healing Sap Essence while staying alive in a group of 20 players seem to be over (for now) with the arrival of 1.6. In PvE it still works great most of the time. (As experienced while totally not grinding for Champion Points in Craglorn)

    If they fix the problem with sap essence not working when there are more than 5 targets around, a version of that build could come back, albeit with some changes. NB's have the best resource management in the game, but as it stands one of their key moves is broken.

    Has an Alter Ego in the form of a very large quadrupedal black & white Bear.

    Sorc was badly nerfed, but in pvp seams rly strong.. Ofc if they try to "adjust" hardened further, sorc will be 3rd/4th place :smile:

    I feel OPness of DKs ended with 1.6..

    So right now,in today's new vision they fixed this problem for NB, will The sap dark knight back then?

    OMG, no reply to this post as I just have some interest to know something more about NB. Especially according today's patch that NB got a fix of his sap essence

    I still think DK is the top of the food chain. No other class has so much defense without sacrificing the highest dps.
