I am a total scrub at pvp so where I go doesn't matter to the campaign, but I find myself going to thorneblade because that is where the consistent AP is.
I want vigor, I need a butt load of AP for that, so I am forced to go there.
I don't have a PvP guild nor do I like the zerg, so its me and a couple of my buddies at maximum when we run around.
We try to help where we can, but if we went to another server what then? We have 5 maybe 6 guys that pvp on a regular basis, how can we go take on a buff server of 90% of DC?
Its completely unbalanced the way things are with the amount of servers and population.
Should close it all down and open up three servers, a 7 day a 30 day and a non vet.
Then get rid of former emp passives and you would have no choice but to fight.Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.0 -

I'll do it. I'll sacrifice my 5% ultimate reduction.... But then you have to share your mats that you won from the other thread! Also, not a 7 day campaign. That promotes emperor farming, 30 day, 14 day, and non-vet. It'd up the lag but it'd also force them to fix the lag if they wanted the player-base to stay.Aldmeri Dominion For Life!

@yodased I can't deny the fact that this would work.... But it's a slap in the face to everyone that's gotten it fairly... Like Peggy, Me, and a few othersRemove former emp buffs as well. Make it a title only. Then no farmy mc farm farm and no buff servers.
The only people that will be in PvP are those that want the skills and those that enjoy it.
What on earth do you mean by "fairly" I got emp the same way everyone did by being the top of the list and getting all the interior keeps. Which is exactly how you got it.0 -

Oh boy. If you have to ask what the difference between a farmed and a non farmed emperor in this game is, then you are on the opposite side of the fence from me on that position.
Fairly as in you didn't go into a server with mostly lower skilled inexperienced players with zergs of highly coordinated skilled players, ran through them, farmed them until 50k then took the ring, only to leave the campaign and rinse repeat until all your little buddies had emp.
Fairly as in you don't pull *** storm tactics like lagging the entire server so you can't have flags flipped.
Fairly as in you don't put down 20 oil pots on the ground so your own faction can't defend against emp flip so your farm can continue.
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.1 -

....Emperor.....Farming......? or you can drop it before maintenance so the person in 2nd gets it. There's a few ways you can cheat the system to get emperor... AP exploits. Emp farming. The maintenance thingy. ✭I think the issue is a lot of players want to be able to do a dungeon run 10 seconds faster than the other guy. I don't understand that.
It might possibly have something to do with the fact that the Trial runs are scored by measuring completion time down to the millisecond, and the result for every run is spammed to all guild mates in all guilds of all group members. We are trained to think that there is some kind of hurry in every fight.

cozmon3c_ESO✭✭✭✭✭because i earned emperor at the turn of a campaigne means i gamed the system??? some people have lives and need to make money. yes i got emperor in only a few hours but it was a hard fought race to 50k. i only took the emperor from the old emperor in a race by 7 ap points, not earned my ass. im not trying to flip emperor for my guildies, i had my fun running through killing people and bolting 30 + times. someone else's turn to get it, i held it for a few days but life took over and had to give up trying to keep it. earned my passives.Guild UMBRA Chapter Lead

Because thousands of PVE'rs will temporarily join a PVP server, flip it and crown an emp, then leave the PVP players with a one coloured map.Vehemence0
