Loved it solid work and solid teamwork especially. Why have you choosen ball of lightning compared to streak?

streak got nerfed tons man, and ball of lighting got fixed, pretty much suks in stuff always without buggin out like it used to sometimes, and makes any one using crushing shock builds worthless
You care to give anymore info on your gear, attributes and all that good stuff? I understand if you don't. As a newer player maining a sorc in pvp, these videos help me a ton. Appreciate the video, was good stuff.
Nice video.A prime example of why sorc's do not need to be buffed. Hopefully the majority of sorc's visiting these forums can now realize some of the virtues of this class instead of focusing on so called " nerfs".

Never used ball of lightning but i though only streak has that CC i allways use it whenever my enemy stops blocking....I just use it offensively tho

that's sorta been the crux of every sorc PvP video since ever

nononononononoooooooooo, what we did was hard and very few people can do, pvp'ing as a sorc is like 5 times harder, compared to when the game came out, what im aiming to say is, if a new player comes to the game and roles to be a sorcerer, he will quit hte moment he sees hes bad meaning when he enters pvp, he will feel the difference between him and other classes, in contrast if a new player roles a nightblade or templar or DK. its easy to run all of them without experience, in other words atm, the number of good sorcerers is very limited, because new sorcerers most likely wont present themselves with all these nerfs, in other words, sorcerer class will eventually(soon) be pretty much dead. we r literally the most nerfed class in this entire game with literally no buffs what so ever, if u will tell me they gave us a self heal from our pet then forget it, cus it got nerfed instantly, rendering it useless, our streak got nerfed 3 or 4 times, negate is uselss since u can cc break it or get out of it, atronach can be *** stunned making him uselss or u can run away from it, and overload is the shitiest of the shitest ultimates, could be roll dodge, reflected and doese *** damage. and dont let me start with all the otehr *** worthless skills we got....
To all of those posting PVP vids, will you please stop posting your pron on the forums?

I have no complaints with Sorc in PvP, but I would love to see Sorc actually wanted in trial runs. Most complaints are with PvE sustained DPS.

@BOLTERITY My point wasn't to negate any of the PVP greatness you have found, it was more to @Aquanova. Because a sorc can do well in PVP does not mean it doesn't need buffs, or that sorc skills don't need reconsidered. For PVE players (my own main is a now parked sorc) it wouldn't really matter if a sorc had a "God Mode" skill that caused instant death in PVP....if I have worst damage output in vet dungeons, trials or DSA. So, until the one class that should be magic based can do comparative damage on PVE side, while staying magic based and without pets...players will ask that ZOS un-nerf their class.

Well, my point is that this video clearly illustrates the effectiveness of sorcs in PvP and the classes ability to 1vX. If sorcs were to get a dps buff for the sake PvE, it would carry over to PvP as well which would effectively make them OP coupled with skills like streak and Crystal shard and lightning splash etc, some of which were used quite extensively in the video. As for @BOLTERITY comment about new players rolling a sorc and wanting to quit after using it in PvP. First off, a new player Regardless of class, will not be on equal footing in PvP simply because they are new and lack experience. Especially at this point, where majority of players in any campaign have probably played for awhile now. If you are implying that just by being a DK alone vs a Sorc will insure more success in PvP then you are greatly mistaken. I was already a VR14 DK when I first went to Cyrodiil this past November and thought based on my lvl and apparent experience I would do pretty well in PvP and I was dead wrong. So there is a learning curve in PvP that is not class related.

I love watching videos like this, especially after reading all the "nerffed sorc" threads. Thank you!
Also it's really impressive to see lighting splash on your bar used in combo with deadric mines. The punish game you guys played was very good, and gives me tons of ideas for Cyrodiil. I'd like to ask though why you never used BE to stun? Even in that first fight when you got down to just 2 opponents, I was wondering why you didn't just BE next to them once or whatever to drain their stamina. Is that a bad move to make now, or was there something I'm just not considering?
I'd like to add that when I was skirming in PVP with a couple friendly enemies, I found the clanfear (1.5) to be useful in getting in the way. Either you're close enough to make them mis-click and fight the clanfear or they out right waste time attacking it. With the health return on death it provides now, it might be worth looking into; but I should also point out that I play a sorc tank so most of my PVP is about jumping in stunning/CC and letting others (usually just 1 partner) do most of the DPS.
Regarding PVE though, I will say that when I want to switch gears and do something other than Tanking in DSA or Pledges it's really difficult to reach even optimal levels of DPS without a total respec. I couldn't imagine trying to do any of that in a trial.

NA MAN, the moment i tried DK for once back in 1.4, i was literally lvl 49 and i was killing v14's and many other veteran players, i realized all it took me to be a good DK was just to unlock the necessary skills to be a DK, and there u go ur a pro in no time.... did u know he maximum amount of damage a sorc can pull of in a magika build is nothhing, literally nothing compareed ot other classes and stam build, i went 5 martial knowledge, 2 torugs pact, 2 adroitness, 2 cyrodils light, and got all my enchants into spell damage and i barely pulled off enough dps, with crushing shock, or crysals or curse... its literally uselesss, the reason this video succeded is bcus me and my freind combined both our bad dps's together to get a good amount of dps, back in 1.5 i coulda pulled what happened in this video off alone, but now u always have to run wiith som1 else to support u with more dps... sorcerers r using crushing shock these days in both pvp and pve to make up for there low dps, and its not even a sorc only dps ability, and same for meteor, all our ultimates r ***.... we have to use such non sorcerer stuff to win fights... negate can be CC broken out of or run out of it, and it got a nerf on the space it covers, atronach keeep s getting stunned or u can run away from it, and overload has always been total ***, light attacks get reflected, or roll dodged... heavy attacks get interrupted... so what r e left with, soul assualt.... or meteor... both not sorcerer skills...

Do you not see that you confirmed what I was implying?" All it took you to do was be a good dk"! And that's all it would take for someone to do the same with a sorc.....just be a good sorc!. Inexperienced DK's in PvP will be not be successful until they L2P.....period. I don't care how many skills they unlock. If we took a group of VR14 DK's and let new players (ie. ppl who only played through to the 3rd or 4th zone of their respective faction) and pit them against a group of lvl 49 sorcs but were played by a group of seasoned vet's that have played PvP months and through trial and error have seen what works, what doesn't in situations and have their load outs and rotations figured out.....ppl like yourself. I'm willing to bet the lvl 49 sorcs would wipe those inexperienced DK's. Would you bet against me? There is no instant winner class for PvP. It lies mainly with the players skill. As for dps, just last night I got hit with 8000+ dmg crystal fragments. Even though I was wearing 3 pieces of HA.None of my class skills produce that with my gear set up, 4x martial, 4x healer hab(including jewelry), 3x torugs pact. The closest would be burning embers or flame lash maybe. So there seems to be some viability to sorc dps with the right setup as far as PvP is concerned. I also use destro staff for my main dps. Is there something wrong with that? I use class skills to compliment the destro and resto staff abilities. So going back to my original comment on this post, I still see no valid reason to buff sorc dps. In PvP i've experienced their dps firsthand as well as their rather annoying abilities such as bolt escape and crystal fragments. DPS for PVE could be handled much like dmg shields were for Cyrodiil. Give sorcs a dps buff outside of Cyrodiil.
