I recently noticed that some armor passives have changed. Heavy armor bracing passive states " with a heavy set of 5 or more pieces equiped" . Now Agility under med armor and prodigy under light states "with a full set of light/med equiped". As far as the wording goes this tells me that you MUST have a full set of medium or light to obtain the passive but only 5 for the heavy passive. The wording was changed on two different trees so it leads me to belive this is intended. After some trial and error i found out that you still get the passive with only five pieces. What i need to know is if this is a glitch or was the wording just screwed up. Is the passive only supposed to be active with all light or med or is a full set still considered five pieces. If anyone can clear this up i would greatly appreciate it.

    I think it must just be a wording issue, most sets are considered "full" with five pieces as that is the max for set bonuses.

    Yeah it's pretty well established that a "full set" consists of 5 pieces.

    i guess "full set" refers to the numbers of pieces you need on armor sets (highest bonus is 5pieces)

    I took a couple of screenshots, but for whatever reason I can't upload them :/

    Anyway, the following numbers are what I found. With 5 heavy, my crit is at 10%. With 5 light, my crit is at 20%. It's been noted in other threads that the 2099 spell critical you get with a "full set" of light armor is equal to 10%. Therefore, "full set" still means 5 pieces or more. I don't have medium armor to test it, but I assume it's the same thing.

    Wearing Medium Armor now. I removed pieces from 7 until at 4. I lost the bonus to Agility when I went below 5 pieces.

    The threshold is 5. A "full set" for an armor type is 5.

    The wording is just bad. Looking at half of the tooltips in the game and how terribly written they are, this is hardly surprising. Tooltips is one of those things that ZoS desperately needs to work on. They need one way to write the same type of statement on every similar tooltip to avoid confusion like this.

    Edit: spelling and grammar corrections, ironically.

    Does the word set mean all pieces have to be in an actual named set, such as Hunding's, or is the word used in the more general sense as a 'set of armour'?

    No. It has to be of the armor type.

    Set = 5 piece of Light/Medium/Heavy
