Spectre's Eye and Other Dodge Abilities - do they stack?

I'm curious if the 5 pc bonus from the Spectre's Eye set (which gives you a 20% dodge chance when you use a magicka ability for 3 seconds) stacks with other dodge abilities such as the medium armor one or NB's Blur for a total of 40% dodge. Anyone know?

If memory serves I think someone asked Wrobel this in a feedback session and he said they do not.

I think they work independently and don't stack.

Just spoke with Eric (Wrobel) and confirmed that increased dodge chance abilities do not stack.

they used to but not for 1.6

Not really. They said they stacked in some mysterious inexplicable and unobservable way.

So no, they didn't stack. In fact, with the minor/major buff thing we have now it's possible to get higher values than were possible before. My theory was that the bonuses overwrit each other before.

Oh well that makes another eight trait crafting set useless for me again.

When will some of the eight trait sets and the one nine trait sets be more useful than the other sets. I feel kind of not rewarded for researching traits as a crafter. I hope one of these days we can get a crafting update with improve sets to craft and other fun ways to craft other than the default way now.

Is there any chance that future revisions of tool-tips and game information will help clarify some of this information? Right now there isn't a great deal of information published via ZOS in regards to mechanics and most requires digging through forums for information which isn't always confirmed.

Maybe I am just reading between the lines but Eric and Jessica say that the abilities would not stack but it was silent on armor set effects. So not to kick a dead horse but does and ability stack with the Spectral set?

plz increase histbark dodge chance to 20% then (as in major evasion)

They didn't stack additively, but they did multiplicatively.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom to be clear you said abilites, not set bonuses a little more clarification would be a little better >_<
