Hello - all devs are ignoring lag topics in Alliance War forum, but responding to threads in General Discussion forum.. So this thread is intended to get dev feedback on what the timeframe is on a PvP patch to fix the lag, since they are allowed to post in General Discussion.

aco5712✭✭✭✭✭Like to just say, i find it very unprofessional that you dont address the lag in pvp ever. People started something about greenshade and roost having lag and NPCs not working and you jumped on it like a pack of wolves. We have countless threads and always ask for help in regards to pvp and you dont comment or mention anything at all. This is just unbelievable how you are dealing with this.
You have to be trying every patch a different solutions. I propose you upload a patch, give it a day to see if it breaks pvp further or fixes it slightly and then either keep it or roll it back to the previous version. I would think the whole pvp community would agree and allow you to do that.
We all know the lighting patch in 1.2 or 1.3 caused this. This was only further enhanced right now when you changed the lighting again in this patch. The game looks much nicer but its unplayable with 5 people on your screen. I logged into cyrodiil at your time 8am with 2 bars pop across the board and i hit 999+ ping in highrock. That is unacceptable.
You really think having the game free to play is going to save it? people will try pvp, see that its nothing but unplayable and move along. MMOs (especially this one because you pride yourself on the huge siege combat) are all about the pvp in end game for alot of people. If we wanted to quest and talk to NPCs we would buy another game that has a single player campaign.
You really need to step up your game ZOS. You have a week from today before the game goes B2P. A week is no time to fix this lag, so just prepare yourself for the [snip] storm thats about to drop on you after all the new players come in.

Yet hope Springs Eternal that the Devs will care enough about PvP and answer here in the forums. BUT if you do a search for Devs responses you get nothing...if You click above in the header of the forums "DEV Tracker" you will see nothing either from them. THEY do not answer to us. THEY have @ZOS_JessicaFolsom and @ZOS_GinaBruno answer for them.
Sometimes Its @ZOS_MichaelServotte and @ZOS_KaiSchober, but not @ZOS_MattFiror or perhaps @ZOS_PaulSage .

Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.4 -

Aquanova✭✭✭✭✭Dude, i've been hitting that red 999+ latency for the last 3 months now. I really wish this would be bumped in priority. I can't tell you how times this was the direct cause of my demise in PvP. Enemies not taking dmg or delayed dmg, delays with activating skills, being unable to exit keeps after respawning, forcing me to /camp, which boots me from the campaign when we're pop locked. I thought it was totally on my end, so I even had my internet provider rewire our service. Still this problem persists, so believe me......I feel your pain.NA/PC3 -

If people pay for service that is half ass Its going to start driving people away. Why? Is the development team so poor at the there job's that they don't write down what causes the effects of game breaking problems? Is there a running Joke of how much can we get the forums to rage? To be honest As a person who has never done development for a MMO I would guess start top to bottom Not Bottom then to the top. One good example is that with patch 1.6 they some how brought back the game studring lag when ever someone joins your group. It's not just Cyrodil. I'm getting massive lag in PvE as well. ms will go from 80 to 400-500 every thirty seconds or so. I have tried every suggestion on the forums and reddit.
It was also a problem before the patch, but now it has gotten worse.0 -
McDoogs✭✭✭✭Thornblade was completely unplayable last night. If you are a new player who is interested in PvP as the endgame primarily please know that the busy campaigns are unplayable during NA primetime. Use that knowledge when deciding whether or not to invest the time in ESO. I wish I had known how bad it would be a couple of months ago.Edited by McDoogs on March 10, 2015 12:10PM1

Only if your skills activate.
I get lot of 300 to 400 pings where suddenly no spell works, at all.
Only on Cyrodiil though, there are occasional 400+ ping spikes elsewhere, but not often enough that i would really notice if i was not already looking for them.0 -

3 Full group game crashes one after another in some areas, yea that hurts alot and needs to be fixed.
A bit offtopic, but maybe related...
We always see game cool pictures with hundreds of players, or mobs. When you go pvp / pve you espect to fight a war, not a 1v1. I want more monsters overall. Skyrim was the same, runing half an hour to find 1 wolf and kill it. I want pack of mobs, and by that i mean solid numbers, 20-50 + with a high variety. Make it like rpg's are, diablo and others, where you would die because you pulled too many of them, not because 1 archer has time to charge a snipe and hits u for full hp bar...
It is no fun to run 5 minutes and kill 2 mobs. But ppl would love to see open world areas where you would need a big group to be able to defeat the monsters. Craglorn has it but the numbers are still low.... If you are crazy enough, you can duo/solo those zones. That's why people say the game is too easy.0 -
