Why? I did some of those quest this weekend and they seem to be giving reasonable XP.

And there were a bunch of other players doing them too (when I was in Thornblade, Azura's was quiet when I went)

I did several of these on Thornblade as well, onlly found one or two enemy players.

Would be great to see a lot more players in these quest hubs. These areas were so much fun around launch. They were sort of hot spots for small scale battles and ganking before the quests were limited to once per day.

XP for PvP in Cyrodiil is very bad. I thought I read something 3-4 weeks ago that they were looking to improve it.

The problem is about 70% (I wish I were making this up...) of the pvp population decided to jump ship and do purely pve grinding in the misguided assumption they needed to/were required to max out all 3600 available CPs in the course of a day/week/month. As a result most of the servers that had in the previous month seen a healthy rise in activity are now once more dead, save for those pve buff hogs who jealously guard the servers if so much as a resource flips a different color. The only other server beside Thorn and BWB seeing much action is Chill, but I didn't like it much because the people there didn't care about holding objectives, just getting AP from farming the zombies crawling up the wall. It's disgusting behavior for people to fall back on, and the sad thing is the rate of CP gain people would get from just playing the game is about the rate ZOS kind of expects people to get it at rather than people spending hours on end grinding the exact same mobs. The funny thing I remember a review that claimed all mmos are trying to be WoW as in grind and spiders. Well ESO isn't trying to be WoW. Players are trying to MAKE it WoW.

People need to stop whining about how long it takes and just PLAY THE DAMB GAME. Seriously I got into a pug grp the other day to do Trials of Rahni'za, a quest hub friends of mine avoided like the plague claiming it was way too hard, and we managed to knock it out and I'd started out at just barely 10% of a Fighter point and when I got finished with that place it put me at about 85% from completion. People would get plenty of experience if they just PLAYED THE DAMB GAME. Same thing with city hub quests in Cyro. I got a *** ton of gold and a decent chunk of XP knocked out. I managed to do Cheydinhal, Cropsford, and Bruma and most of Chorrol before some AD *** decided it took all 3 of them to kill me despite the fact that when a DC player tried to attack me at Bruma then backed off, I let him go. Because I just want to finish my quest get my xp and move on. Save the combat for defending an actual keep.

I kept begging friends of mine to help me knock out crag quests that had been sitting in my journal for ages, some of them repeatable and some of them the 'story' quests. All they seemed to want to do was either grind spellscar, which was nerfed for a reason, and skyreach, which was nerfed for a reason. People are failing to understand that the Champion system is intended for ENDGAME progression, meaning it's meant to be worked on in the long haul. That's not the fault of ZoS that's the fault of these whining entitled min-maxing pricks who think the game is supposed to cater to their tastes at the cost of everyone else. People are shooting themselves in the foot here and then they turn around and blast the game that theres no content to work on when they ignore everything else but the grind. Well if they get fed up and go somewhere else and go play ARR, don't let the door hit them on the backside.

Because the funny thing is a friend tells me ARR is even MORE grindier.
