nightblade cloak vs invisibility potions

I think it is ridiculous that nightblade cloak does not work to assist you to steal, and that guards can see right through it, but invisibility potions work just fine.

Either give cloak the same effect as potions, or nerf potions so nothing works, but at the moment it's a slap in the face to all Nightblades to make a class defining ability so worthless.

Don't nerf pots they are finally more viable than slamming tripots with the buff to X seconds

Guards see me through pot very well. I they just break my invis pretty easily.

Reports from other players are that pots cannot be seen through by guards currently. For instance just read a thread where multiple people confirmed invis pots are the only way to escape an angry guard inside a locked room once he detects you.

I've done this in the Daggerfall Bank (which is V6 Zone for my main) with Dark Cloak. I attacked the guard inside to see if I could escape purposely when 1.65 landed on live and I was able to. When the guard went to attack with a heavy I blocked and stunned him. Then I kept spamming cloak, went over to the door while still spamming cloak while crouched until it gave me the option to leave.

Maybe cloak is breaking for you or something else is happening, however it worked for me. It's not a simple hit cloak and you're good to go. I believe it's a matter of staying cloaked for a certain amount of time that made it work for me..

LOL!!! It's my topic. And yes, it works. But it doesn't mean that stealth can't be breaked by any skill (once I was pulled to guards by chain through invisibility). But it works well if you do it as @ViciousWayz mentoined (it's the only way it works for me).

Try to repeat it when there are two guards and a citizen attacking you.
