There are many disguise kits in the game. Please add them to costumes collection as well.

Some of us (such as myself) keeps 30+ costumes just as vanity items and we keep them for roleplay purposes. I really don't want to lose them !

I know some quests use blow cover mechanics. But you can at least add that costume after we complete that quest.

Not a bad idea, no downside to this!

I actually thought they were suppose to do this. Then I logged and saw 6 still sitting on my mule. I personally like to hold on to them and don't understand why they wouldn't.

I believe they intent to sell several costumes at crown store later on.
Making 30+ costumes free might damage their income.
If this game stayed sub. based, I bet they would happily add them to collection before even I post this.

I hope they add them though...

They already are "free" if you completed the quests.

Are you suggesting that these disguises we have earned in the game be sold in the Crown Store as well?

I also expected them to add all disguises to the costume slot.
    I wish they'd do that.

The costumes have already been obtained freely. I have several just hanging out on my chars. I won't re-buy the costume in the crown store when I already have it. All that needs to happen is they get removed from your inventory and put into your costume collection. No impact on ZOS' profits.

Yes I agree. I also collect costumes. How about when the quest ends successfully your disguise ends up in the costume section with a cool tooltip "You used this disguise the foil the plot of 'x'"
"If a stick of fish is a fish stick, it will stick like other fish sticks stick"
"Taller races now sit in chairs correctly"

Would be a good feature! I've saved all the costumes I've ever acquired - prolly taking up a good 30+ slots. Would be nice to have those slots free, too. It's also quite a pain to dig around to find the costume I want like that.

The thing is, the "disguises" are items that have a special "disguising" (as in, making hostile mobs neutral in that particular quest area) effect and vanish when you get "discovered" so you have to find a new disguise item. Thus they can not be in the collections... (without a good deal of recoding of the collection costumes, which are purely cosmetic with no game effect)

    ...however...

It -would- be possible to replace the item version of any disguise with the same looks as -costume- on completion of the quest. That costume would then have no "disguising" effect, but be just for looks. And that would very easily fit into the collections tab. And they could also put in a vendor to purchase those costumes for those people who already completed the quests long ago, either for a small gold amount, or as trade-in for any disguises kept...

And while they're at it, there are some appereance changes that come without disguise during some quests (dunmer cultural garb from the Windhelm greeting quest, Altmer party outfit from the dreenshade memory modification quest, etc.) which would also be nifty to have as costumes in your tab...

I for one would want that!

Yup, I was asking for cosmetic only stuff. Quest based stuff can be added after we complete it or it can just be cosmetic without disquise effect as you nicely described.

And I was not trying to say that they will sell those quest items on store. I was thinking that if they decide to sell several "new" costumes, player obtained 30+ costumes might provide players a lot of options to start with, so they might not buy them (new costumes) hastily.

I thought they said they TRIED this but had issues so it was not include in patch 1.6 and might come in patch 1.7
They might even SELL it to you as a DLC or and shop item

I suggested the same thing in another discussion today, just added that they might be character-locked and not account-locked (so you'd have to finish the quest on each character you wanted to wear the costume).

Also, please allow us to either buy all of the disguises in the crown store or make them lootable from mobs. Some disguises were unique and were attainable only once. I happened to have lost a few of those while wearing them and the game crashed. When I logged back in they were gone for good.

I completely agree, disguises should have been in collections in the patch, but ZOS forgot to add it.

That's bad. I missed that post.

I was thinking that making those disguise kits as a part of collection is easy as adding the other account wide costumes.

I hope they add them before 1.7 which might take quite long... or I'm even ok with 1.7 :)
