Ok so there has been this thing going on about people having bugged enlightenment and farming over 250 cps a day. Let me try to explain everything, everyday day you get enlightened once day which allows you to gain about 3 CPs a day, However sometimes during the day you might get enlightened for a second time or third time. Most of the time that enlightenment that occurs, goes off when you zone out of a spot. Let's say you got lucky and it stayed with you and you farmed Cp, which was my case, yea you will get an "invisible point" that you cant even spend or use so for example: you gained 3 ranks with that bugged enlightenment once you log off and log back in those 3 ranks will be dropped. I have confirmed this myself and I know how it works; so whoever is claiming to have 250 points is just trying to feed on you. If that ever existed I would like to see a screen of it. In my opinion if there was a re-roll to occur it would be unfair for all the people who got their Cps during the weekend, because of some trolls claiming to have earned more CP and Im sure ZOS can track the gains of everything and see for themselves.

Really? I haven't seen that. I did see a thread saying some people had managed to rack up a total of 250cp, which would be about 40 a day. But I haven't seen anyone saying 250 a day. Actually, the system is supposed to enlighten you for 1 CP per day. But, you know, what're pesky details when we're multiplying everything by five?

Because it's a UI error, and isn't really happening. Which leads to other errors and strange behavior. There's two separate issues... well, three, actually. I know, it's a shock, more than one bug occurs at once. In one case, you have a UI error that reports enlightenment, even when the account isn't. You can earn CPs that way, but they're a UI glitch, and not real. So when you zone, you get kicked back to reality. You have an issue where some players cannot receive enlightenment at all, and only receive the UI error. "Losing" champion ranks in the process.
And, there's a bug where enlightenment can be propagated to other players, resulting in endless enlightenment so long as the zerg stays together. And, that's where you end up with a real possibility of people raking in 40 CP in a day. Not from a UI error.2 -

No, that's probably intended. The statement was, you'd gain 1 CP an hour while enlightened, 1CP per four hours while not. Which meshes with a *4 modifier.1 -
Dyride✭✭✭✭✭You are wrong. Some people have been gaining points at a much higher rate, and part of that is having enlightenment that lasts longer than it should.
Others have not received proper enlightenment period.
