Took me 24+ hours to download (yay Telstra) finally done and I am getting ERROR 11 MESSAGE.

1. I launch client and press PLAY it goes to play Cinematic and Starter Credits and crashes.
2. I have followed every instruction I can find. (Run as admin, check driver updates, check firewall settings, reset compatibility to XP, I have no repair button anywhere and so I have not needed to do this apparently.
3. I have sent off a request to SUPPORT and am awaiting assistance. 24 hours ago. They did reply once after mis-readinging my email they thought I was fixed o.O I have resubmitted.

I am getting impatient - please if anyone can assist me while I am waiting for assistance I would appreciate it :)

PS I am computer illiterate so speak very slowly and in easy to understand language please :tongue:

    To skip the intro
    search for SET skippregamevideos "0" in the usersettings.txt
    change the 0 to 1

    Repairing and I find I have to re-download the entire 31+GB update again... really ?!? :weary:

    Then my wireless thingy shut down and I have to pause/stop and restart my comp to get it working again. Run repair again and it wants to start from the beginning again !!!


    GRRRR no way. What is up here? I also read other people doing REPAIR 4 TIMES and downloading the entire update from scratch!

    I CANNOT do this. I guess I cannot play ESO anymore... maybe the next patch will fix it.

    - I am persisting since I read someone else did the repair and was fine. Fingers crossed only 1 REPAIR will do it.

    I have done everything instructed - still not working. Cries :cry:

    Downloading newest patch and will try to update 1 more time and see.

    I am wondering now if my updater is what is borked atm...

    I would just keep trying if I had better internet - I do not blame ZOS totally for this... something is wrong somewhere, but others are having no issues. So I dont know :confounded:

    The patch sorted the Error 11 crash... and I can get to login in screen. I enter my details in and it goes to an seemingly endless load screen.

    I am wondering now if all my other 'fiddling' has broken something else.

    Fork I'm determined to beat this!!! :expressionless:
