The veteran community in eso is and will always be your last and most loyal customers.
Well isn't that an arrogant thing to say. Listen up, level-queen, I have NO characters at veteran level because I am enjoying the world and the immersion - flawed as it may be - it's still ES that I can share!
You are leaving and I am staying, what does that say about who is loyal
PS recently found an honest-to-god physical copy of the pre-order Edition (happy dance)!!
I have to say I disagree with the OP, especially in regards to TSW and Wildstar. If ESO isn't for you then it just isn't for you, and there is nothing wrong with that. I feel like the energy gone in to the thread could have been better used elsewhere, unless the entire point was a vent to randoms on the internet. I hope you find a game to enjoy if you are displeased with ESO, though I couldn't make the switch to TSW or Wildstar - they've been tried and found lacking.

After reading your comments above, it does seem that you are a very hard person to please. It would seem that no matter what you are ever involved in, will ever meet your standards.
You do have issues with E.S.O. and gave it a try, good on you. Hopefully the next game you buy/try will fulfill your needs.
You could always make your own MMO, you know, program it, market it, update it, fix the bugs in it, run a Forums page, Moderate the Forums page, and so on. Please feel free to come back to these forums when you have and let us all know about it.
I know I would enjoy it, for a while, then blast it on your forums page for not being what I want it to be.
my two cents.... well since we don't have pennies anymore here, I guess it's my nickel.
If I ever make a game I will encourage people to blast it on the forums so I can get a real genuine feel for how my customers react to changes . Then use that to my advantage by fixing it and giving out a customer service questionnaire after to see if I gave the best I could for their buck . But that's just my way of doing buisness ...
Good plan, but as long as you realize that you will never be able to please everyone at the same time.
You have stated that you have tried other games. Why? Is it because you want to try something new? Something that makes you explore different ways of doing things? Because that is what patch 1.6 in E.S.O. is.
It will most likely not be the last change that will occur. Much of what has changed in the game was brought forth by people other than you, for the same reason you state above.
This change obviously does not agree with you, but for many others, it does.
I am just showing you the other side of the coin that you are holding.
I never said any of that . My complaints have been customer service related not about the new update . The material is great , the bugs are terrible and sometimes game breaking but never one Hotfix implemented .
My last MMO I left because it closed . The rest I still have accounts on . Just because I think this guy or any person should have the right to blast something he doesn't like doesn't mean I agree with him . I'm just adult enough to know his opinion has nothing to do with mine .

Sorry for the confusion here. my quote was to the OP, but things got diverted to you by mistake. Appologies.
Same here, but my RL friends didn't come back yet. If they do, doesn't look promising that they will stay more than a week.I have to say I disagree with the OP, especially in regards to TSW and Wildstar. I plan on staying and being a squeaky wheel . I absolutely love the game , just want it to get in a good running condition for everyone . I have less issues in game then others have reported but I can hear my friends groaning in frustration in voice chat when they get fed up . I hope Zenimax listens and works fast to fix these mechanics . The games only great for me if my friends stay this time . They came back in hopes this new system would bring the fixes and improvements ZOS claimed .

You are in a class all by yourselves, but your sight of the games problems cant be seen. Out of sight out of mind isnt a fix, just avoidance of the truth....like that dying man they left alone in The beach.

Ya the old "I don't play that much so I don't see any problems ." approach . Or , "I've NEVER seen a bug or glitch in this game."
.... lol Ya ok ...

As far as the mmo market goes, yes it does have a lot of crap and eso is stnading on that hill of crap. That doesnt make it a gem. World of warcraft, even though i only played it 8 months is a gem despite its past its prime. Ultima online and dark age of cam were gems. Eso, is a brand carrying rich lore and imagination, but not much else.

No, you don't affect me whatsoever, and are by no means a damper on the game. I'm merely here by chance, figuring you'd be discussing the change that 1.6 was, and how a change so far from release/so close to console release could be a bad or good thing. Not my thread. You did invoke a smirk on my face with your statement on the types of people ESO attracts. Not the first time I've seen anybody post something similar though.
I personally never played Wildstar. There were probably hundreds of people that stated it would outshine ESO right about the time it was released. Heard it "busted" harder. You don't seem too easy to please, so I assume you'll be saying the same thing after awhile of that game, and the same after awhile of the EQ reboot.

its a response to the old "you levelled too fast and thats why you arent having fun like me "the non-veteran" approach. To each his own, but everyone who is a vr14 right now is "by fact" more knowleagable of the games problems than anyone running around as a level 40 after a year of the games release. Thanks, but your looking at the wrong thing...me. You should be looking at the marketing approach, the console failure they will have, and the stiff clunky engine versus the amount of mmos soon to come in the next 1-2 years which will not be using clunky engines and taken themselves so seriously.
As far as wildstar. Its the best piece of crap mmo to play right now if you are just tired of seeing the same problems. The biggest complaint about wildstar is that there is a progression wall that you hit after max levelling. That isnt a big deal to me. I used to be a powergamer but now im casual, a very fast and keen one.
