Jumping off of the horse

Anyone else having issues jumping off of your horse. I have noticed, if you are sprinting on your horse you can't jump off, you have to stop sprinting and let the horse slow down before you can step off. You end up hitting a door or a wayshrine, then when you finally get off, you mount right back up again because you have press the "H" key, too many times trying to get off of your horse.
