Wrecking Blow vs Dodge Roll

Ok so i was pvping last night and i started to notice that i could not seem to dodge roll wrecking blows. i was mid roll and wrecking blow still connects and im flying through the air. anyone else noticing this as well?

    Can't block them half the time either, it's hit or miss. Would be nice if either of those worked, since you can't interrupt it.

    Your dodge roll is faster than the swing of the wrecking blow. Thus its all relative to the timing. IF you are facing me and time your roll half way through my swing, then you will pretty much be certain to be safe. If you are running, and spamming, I will connect with you at some point, I love runners, so easy to kill.

    Dont forget there is a half second (or so) regain your composure at the end of dodge rolls. Thats another point where it can connect. The other factor with that, is unless you are macroing, that minimal split second between rolls is likely to be longer.

    I've found that rolling towards (and through) the person who's charging up a Wrecking Blow really confuses some people.

    Interesting, ill have to give it a shot.
    So they changed how roll works now or something? What if there is lag or a delay (like on live right now)? How are you suppose to time anything in lagged situations? It looks like you dodge it and mid roll on the ground wrecking blow still connects sending you flying.

    Other abilities I notice this with. Cannot block sheild charge or templar charge while they are on the way to you anymore. No matter how far away they are, the moment your character stops moving when they initiate their charge you cannot block the incoming cc anymore.

    Maybe this all just lag, or maybe a bug. But whatever it is needs to be looked at by zos and be polished/cleared up.

    It's probably not so much confusion, but rather the fact that WB will cancel if your target moves LOS's the direction of the animation.

    The easiest way to stop a WB is to just run through the target casting it. If done 2/3 to 3/4 of the animation it will stop the cast since you have you be facing the target.
