i am interested if when i create new character if he will share all CP pool(70+ any new earned CP) after reaching vr1, or if character is 'clean sleet' with 0 CP?
i'd think it would still get those points, but i could be wrong, some clarification would be nice.
maybe some1 tested already and reached vr1 from newly made char?

CP are account-wide. So once they're in your account, any character can access them from then on.

Every character gets the same CP. if you have a VR14, you had 70 come the Champ System. If you earned 3 more CP's since then, every character will have 73 now, even newly created characters.

Pre-Veteran characters can Use the CPs, they simply cannot EARN them until they are VR1 though.

A slight clarification on what @nerevarine1138 says above (just because I've heard it explained that way before, but it didn't make sense to me personally until I heard it explained this way).

CP are earned account-wide by all VR level characters and deposited into an account-wide pool.

That pool is then effectively mirrored for every character on the account (VR or not), allowing each of them to individually spend the number of CP that have been earned on the account as a whole.

So rather than all of the characters drawing from one pool of CP, with each taking a portion of them, they each get the full number of CP in your account pool.

Including a brand new level 3 character.

Thanks for the info. I thought it was the other way in which all toons on the account split the CP. Nice to see they don't have to!

so let me get this right

I just used all my 70 CP on my vr14, if I create a new char, will that char also have 70 CPs to use?

Umm so if I use my 70 cp and create a new character I get another 70 cp? Why would it give me another 70? If that is the case then it would make sense to delete anything that isn't vet and create all new characters, getting 70 cp each time for my acct wide pool.

Guys... there is bad information being said in this thread.

The account wide pool of CP ONLY applies to characters created BEFORE 1.6 launched live. Any toon created after the patch went live WILL NOT have the 70 CP's and will be starting fresh.

that new character will have 70 cp, he wont give you another 70 cp. Each character will always have the same amount of cp, the only way to increase CP is on a vet character tho.

This is false. All characters on one account always have the same CP, no matter when they were created. There is only one CP pool for the entire account.

Yeah I didn't think we got another 70 per character after 1.6. The 70 was a one time only deal for the vet characters on release of 6.

What I am deciphering is this note in the patch notes:
"Only currently existing characters created BEFORE Update 6 goes live are eligible to claim points from the conversion pool."

    Did I read it incorrectly?

Not sure if this helps anyone but I have a VR6 (unplayed for months), created a new character but didn't get access to the champion points until I logged onto old character. Then logged back into the new toon and spent the points (8,7,7) on the whole account.
Now just have to play for another 4 months before I gain anymore.....

That note is talking about the conversion pool, not the account champion pool.

Conversion pool is the CP pool that your account accumulated before 1.6. It is an one-time deal that is only relevant for the transition from 1.5 to 1.6.

Say you have three characters in 1.5. Each of them earned enough experience to be egligible to get 30 CP instantly at the point 1.6 goes live. The total conversion pool you have at this time is 70 CP (30+30+30 but capped at 70)

After 1.6 goes live, you log in to character 1, and this causes 30 points from the pool to be claimed for your account. You log in character 2 and this causes another 30 points from the pool to be claimed for your account.

Then you create a new character and log it in. This will not cause any CP to be transferred from the conversion pool to your account (and this is what the patch note you mentioned talks about). The new character will have 60 CP ready to spend, but to get the remaining 10 points from the conversion pool, you have to log in your 3rd old character.
