CP progress does not save when you crash (sometimes). + workaround

BUG: The CP progress you have when you log in is what you'll be reverted to if your client crashes.
WORKAROUND: Log off successfully to save your CP progress, do this frequently to avoid huge losses of CP progress should you crash.
I'm posting this in General in hopes that everybody can see this because it is a serious issue.
Play Log:
I ended my game session yesterday after I crashed the 9th time in about a 6 hour period with my last CP progress checkup at about 200k, I had only looked at it a couple times: when I first logged in and minutes before my final crash. Logging in today, I only have about 125k (huh that's weird). So I shrug it off and go run around in Cyrodiil for a couple hours and check it again, now I'm just over 200k. Crash about 10 minutes later (w/e it's Cyrodiil). My CP is back down to 125k.
Played a bit more, pushed it up only to 135k, logged out and relogged, still at 135k. So I crashed 9 times yesterday without ever logging out and boy have I LOST A TON OF CP PROGRESS.
So even after losing so much CP progression, my enlightenment has still built up a ways and I'm working well into my second CP now.
