One shotted

Ok here is the thing. This is not because of the new patch, this is something that since a long time is running in my head.

For example yesterday, I was in Cyrodiil doing pvp with a group assaulting a castle and from behind a NB was appearing a dissapearing one shotting people. One of those was me.

I'm V1 and I don't know what was him, but I saw him, he was appearing and dissapering, he was alone and I'm completly sure because was very quiet. The question, could be possible that there are classes, builds or specs that can one shot a person?

Can be that it is because maybe he was V14 and there is a big difference betweem V1 and V14 even if in Cyrodiil we are all matched?

Because if that is the reason is ok, I have no problem, I know I have to continuing lvl up, but if not, then I don't know, I can't understand who are those people? how can they be so good to know everything and one shot players ....

Can someone give me some advices or explain me a little bit this situation.

Did you look at the death recap to see what happened?

There could have been hidden enemies all working together, sniping you at the same time.

Sorry I forgot to say, but im almost completly sure that he was one shotting using Lethal Arrow, because of the sound, I'm also a NB.

He was probably a fully twinked out V14, with the FOTM(or should that be flavor of the patch?) build and fully 70 CPs assigned.

Don't know your build, but if you are wearing Light Armor you are easily 1 shot now at V1, and the buff you get for AvAvA is an old one that hasn't been improved since day one of the game.

& V14 with 70 CP vs a v1 with prob zero CP, yes surely possible

Yes, I have been one shotted as well by some of the night blade builds when I was around V1 and V2. Now that I am V8 I am no longer one shoted and can still put up more of a fight.

What is fun is when you put together an anti-ganking group and search and destroy those gankers and put them in their place

Hawkeye + Morag tong + thaumaturge= 29% more dmg from lethal arrow. Means you are screwed if you wearing Light Armor
Edit: forgot relentless focus = 8% more dmg again so 37% more dmg

Its a playstyle, to be 100% ganker aka glass cannon, once you face him 1 on 1 and no sneak atk etc, you'll likely fare better (if youre even leveled).

Its just a matter of playstyle, at first glance I tought this is a nb with wrecking blow one shotting people from stealth, but its pretty viable with lethal arrow aswell.

Also the difference between a well geared VR14 and any VR1 is huge, and even bigger if the VR1 doesnt have any CP.

Ok so can be possible that is because he is V14.

So a V14 NB can one shot another V1 NB and YES!!! I'm completly sure he was alone! because I turn back after realizing that someone was one shotting people, because first I said: WTF HAPPENED???

and not only me, 2 or 3 guys realized it also and then he started to hide, but appearing one shotting and runing aways like a crazy. What I mean is that I saw him! and I saw only him appear and disappear.

I have a green crafted medium armor set that I did and 2 pieces of another one. So I'm not bad equiped compare with people that have crazy stuffs.

In my experience, if someone built their character as one-shotter, it means all their stat points in stamina for the damage boost, and likely all purple gear to boost it even more, and 70 c-points spent wisely. Then lethal arrow from stealth can do this. Though it means they die rather quick if someone does manage to catch them... or some DK claps their wings
