1.6- What are the new stat caps?

Heya! I've been trying to figure out what the right "values" are that I should aim to reach when gearing my character. I.e. when I'm making my Sorc, what is the magicka value that I should reach to have sufficient magicka? Stuff like that. If you can help me figure out what those would be for PvE and PvP I'd greatly appreciate it; in 1.5 I always tried to make my magicka build have about 2700 Health, 2400 Magicka, and 1700 Stamina. What should those be for 1.6? What is good Stamina/Magicka regen now? Much appreciated :D

    Good question, and I wish I had a good answer. Possibly 1.6 is too new yet to have solid values. But in general, ZOS first nerfed a lot of values in the game, including primary stats. Then they inflated most numbers by a factor of 10. So if you add a zero to 2700, 2400, and 1700, you'd theoretically want 27000 health, 24000 magicka, and 17000 stamina. But due to the across-the-board nerfs, I'm not sure it's possible to actually reach such numbers. Might be, but just don't know yet. Maybe other players will respond with better info.

    It really depends on what you want to do, what playstyle, class and game mode. I tried to do the vet pledge with my PvP build and got oneshot about 327987 times. In PvE I think you need about 20k, while in PvP you can do whatever you want as Long as it fits your playstyle.

    There are many things that got multiplied by less than 10. Health/magicka/stam all got inflated by a factor of 7-8 from what I've seen. Plenty of spreadsheets and such that have been done on the PTS forums before this patch ever went live.

    For pvp, my sorc has a pretty good statsetup atm.

    30k magicka
    20k health
    13k stam (using arena set)

    Its a place to start, so far working well, can adjust things as we learn the new meta. But its a good staring pt.

    Health Metas are roughly as follows:
    • Vet Dungeons/DSA: DPS/Healer = 18-19K & Tanks (Hard capped) 25K.
    • AA/HR/VDSA: Basically the same, add 1K if you want to feel safer.
    • SO: DPS/Healer = 19-21K & Tanks (Hard capped) 25-28K.
    • PvP: 25K is perfectly fine and is actually hard to get that low using VR10 Epic food if you have points in Health.
    • Soloing/Grinding: Health is less of an issue, Stamina for Blocking is much higher priority.
    Resource pools are much harder to say as there are all kinds of crazy builds right now but you need high enough Magicka/Stamina so that you do enough DPS/HPS to complete the PvE content or high enough Magicka for Shields in PvP and Stamina to break CC/Block.

    Armor/Resistance:
    • PvE: DPS/Healer = As high as you can get it & Tanks = Hard Capped (32,500) with Minor/Major Wards up.
    • PvP: As high as you can get it, no seriously, if you aren't able to spam Shields you NEED high Armor/Resist.
