Just got booted from the game and can't log back in. the news in the log in screen can also not be loaded.

What is wrong?

i could log in now too, after like 10-15 minutes of trying. the ping is super super bad and i have disconnects all the time. the eso forum is also very slow for me.

NA server, connecting from europe, germany. ping has been bad (up to 999+) very often today.

I'm not using Wifi, i'm connected via lan cable. VDSL25, usually i have pings around 180-220

Just rebooted my computer, now i get error code 200 when i try to login.

And the forum is still acting up as well, long load times, sometimes the layout is displayed broken. Something seems to be really messed up in the connection between europe and NA

I just logged in to NA from the U.S. No problems, pings normal and everything seems fine.

I'm going to guess there's a local ISP problem or something on the transatlantic connection.

YMMV, etc.

i traceroute'd the connection now and the last 3 hops are missing, not always, but very often.

Hmm, doesn't sound like it's a widespread issue with the megaserver itself. If you haven't already, could you submit a ticket to our Support Team? https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/ask

Last night there was clearly a problem in the upstream provider for ESO which in my case is affecting routing from one ISP while not at all affecting a second one, given its location it's going to possibly affect many people but maybe not huge numbers.
