Also If it does go "poof" you can go back to the place you first got it and you either kill some mobs to get it back or loot a lootable and there should be one there.

This was my thought as well. I'm not aware of any disguises that currently disappear without you consciously deleting them.
There are some disguises that are given as part of the quest (not looted), so those would be irreplaceable if deleted. But they would still need to be manually deleted by the player.

There used to be a bug where some disguises would be destroyed by combat in zones intended for different disguises. I know the Quendeluun Veiled Heritance disguise was one of these, I'm not sure which others were affected, but I heard the Bloodthorne and Vulkhel Guard Marine ones could go poof as well. And of course, the Red Rook disguise is actually used in two different areas of Glenumbra, so you can still have a similar effect by wandering into the second zone and getting into combat, without realizing they'll drop the disguise as well.

Ohhh, that's right. It's been a while since I quested through those areas. I vaguely remember now that the disguise (in those quests) goes away once you take damage. That's definitely only a handful of costumes though.
I like this idea - it gives those who already completed the quests a way to get the costumes. I propose the change to the quest rewards, but also have some general merchants stock the costumes after quest completion.TheShadowScout wrote: »Both as new quest reward for those who do the quests anew, and purchasable from some vendor, possibly by turning in the old disguises for those who held onto them?
YES!cyclonus11 wrote: »For quests that involve disguises, could we possibly get a costume version as a quest reward upon completion? I'd like to be able to use some of these without worrying about them going "poof" as soon as I enter combat. Just an idea...
I haven't tested it, and it may have been changed in the last nine months, but according to this you can return to the Shimmering Kallopi Tree in Greenshade and get another disguise, even after finishing the quest.Artemiisia wrote: »

Might be worth a shot.
