Trying to get my level 42 nb to v1 before it hits, cause my sorceror is useless.

Im not really a fan of 1.6 either, im sure it will be fun the first 2 months, but when grinders start getting 300+ cp, pvp is going to become ridiculous.

I am going to play all my sorcerer builds and really enjoy their "functionality" and then when 1.6 hits I will see if they really are still viable. I have only dabbled on the PTS and could not gauge how well my sorcs were doing. If encounter any opposition to me joining a group because I am a sorcerer in 1.6 or if certain parts of the game become a lot harder I guess I will complain =P

Playing. Trimming down inventory on chars just in case the horse glitch isn't TOTALLY fixed. Looting everything I can, everywhere I can. Frantically trying to sell off useless provisioning items.

Quit the game on the least crowded place in Tamriel, hoping it will cause logging in to go a little faster when 1.6 goes live.

Taking screen shots of the skill trees, skill bars, and attribute screens so I know what points were put where. Some of them will be adjusted for 1.6, but at least I'll have a pretty good idea on what I was using. Also using up some of the provisioning items that will be converted to "Old". I would rather have the food than the paltry 10 gold that ZOS is giving us for the old items. And trying to wrap my head around all the work it's going to take to rebuild my characters again.

You should do some careful research before doing that.

Say you've got a stack of ingredient A and a stack of ingredient B in your inventory that can be used to make a particular recipe. The equivalent recipe in 1.6 only requires 1 ingredient. If ingredient A converts into the ingredient used to make that equivalent recipe, then the only thing you're doing by making that food prior to 1.6 is wasting a stack of ingredient B that would otherwise have been sold to a vendor for 1K.

Another thing to consider is whether the ingredients you are using up actually make useful food. If you've got ingredients that are going stale, but the food that they make is a level 1 or level 5 green drink, then it's not something that you'd actually use - you'd just sell it. Unless you're making it just to level provisioning on a character, then you're better off keeping the ingredients and selling them off for 10 gold each in 1.6.

In some cases it makes perfect sense to make food now with ingredients that will go "old" in 1.6 (especially food made with pepper), but in other cases it won't.
