ZOS are there any plans to reduce the cost of bank space?

I have 150 bank spaces and the next unlock for 10 more spaces is 45,000 gold... It's very inconvenient for me because I've maxed out my inventory bags + horse and STILL my bag and bank is always full...i'm constantly looking for items to delete when I get new loot for a set or something. I craft a lot and I PVE a lot and I PVP a lot so I have different armor sets and this takes up a lot of space. 45,000 is a lot of money and I doubt most people have more than 20k gold in their inventory at one time

I really don't see how difficult it can be to change a number before 1.6 :/

No. We need high costs on bank space.
This game needs even more money sinks (i mean in-game currency sinks)

Sell some of the stuff in your banks then use that cash to buy more bank space. 2 birds, meet 1 stone.

Wait till you get to 210 slots and the next 10 cost 75k...

But in 1.6 you'll be able to stack crafting mats to 200, and the prize costumes and pets will leave your inventory, so you will have some breathing room.

I think the bank prices work well as both a gold sink and an incentive to get organized and not keep too much stuff you'll never use anyway...

Sadly of course the economy in this game is a joke so good luck trying to use it.

There are actually very good reasons why the storage in this game is a crippling limitation that only the 'fans' can try to justify.

As for the OP's request, I'm sure more bank slots are going to appear in the Store pretty soon after the console launch if not before.

And what about the large amount of folks who are not end game players yet? Crafters especially suffer for this.

I have 200 slots in my bank, and I still have to use Mules to store mats. The changes in 1.6 will hopefully allow me to turn two of the mules into characters I can play, or use those slots to roll characters I can play. But I will still have two mules for mats storage and my crafters are going to have to carry their own refined mats again rather than keeping them in the bank.

Doubtful, because loading your inventory up with crap and having to figure out what to do with it is "fun".

The cost of bank space is necessary. It's one of the very few gold sinks in this game. ESO could stand to have a few more gold sinks in my opinion. I have max bank space, max inventory space, and max horse cargo for all characters. I still have millions in gold, yet nothing to spend it on.

For those complaining about the cost, it's not that high. No, new players aren't going to be able to afford to max out bank and inventory space, nor should they be able to. You will have more gold than you know what to do with once you've played for a while and reach the veteran ranks.

For those whose argument is that they are casual players and can't obtain that amount of gold, well then if you are just a casual player what need do you have for maxed out inventory slots anyway?

The problem isn't what happens after you hit the level cap, but for players at the earlier levels who want to craft, where it continues to be a nightmare.

Arguing that things are hunky-dory when you're grinding the endgame is irrelevant. That's not where the problem lies.

Those suggesting there isn't a problem might want to let ZOS know, since they have acknowledged there is one and that's why they're making so many changes in 1.6

Whether that will be enough remains to be seen, but it's certainly better than the way things are, opens the door to future improvements and is a hell of a lot better than denying the existence of a very real problem that is a major turn-off for a lot of players.

Pay2Bank is coming. Obviously since it reduces mule-juggling time in the real world, it's a "convenience" thing.

Many endgame players have millions of gold in their inventories actually.

I would imagine most of those with millions probably earned that as a result either directly or indirectly due to the dupe glitch that occurred at launch. The good player can probably earn a few hundred k especially if they are good at finding motifs and lucky with drops and excel at trading.

The average player or those constantly upgrading gear, levelling crafting professions etc are probably in the 10's of thousands rather than hundreds.

I have millions, but I earned every single gold coin that I have, thank you very much. Yes, there were some players in the early days that abused a glitch. I'm not among them.

And it doesn't take months or a year of playing to reach a million or even a few hundred thousand. I earn a minimum of 50k to 100k per day selling resources.

I started out as a new player like everyone else. I leveled every crafting profession like everyone else. I struggled with inventory space initially like everyone else. If myself and others can do it, you can to.

You see? YOU need a gold sink, not players starting the game and most game they play in new version of inventory tetris. Gold sink is horribly missplaced in ESO.

But i guess soon enough "bank space" will appear in cash shop to "ease" the pain...for a few bucks.

And no, not everyone has 16 hours a day to just run around farming nodes. Mats sell for a bit over what you can sell them to vendor.

But all this has already been pointed out in BETA. Yes, 1 year ago.

No need for 16 hour days. Just run DSA or Trials for a couple hours. You'll get Bind On Equip gear that you can sell for a nice profit. You don't even need to finish DSA. There are chances for high profit jewelry drops after each round.

I always have lots of gold. Just get out there grind away and you will make it just fine. Stick it in FARM mode and you will have plenty.
