I know we can migrate to another campaign, but you can’t ever just leave one.
I’m fine with paying the same fee or waiting out the end of the campaign.

The problem is, if you have other characters from another faction in a PVP campaign, you get stuck in your current campaign.

Example, I have a VR 6 Templar (DC) with a home campaign Chillrend, and guest Azura’s Start.

I have a VR 4 (AD) sorcerer home campaign Thornblade, and guest Haderus.

A few days ago I thought I would swap my Templar to Thornblade, but found out I couldn’t leave or migrate to any campaigns as they are all in use.

Support, unfortunately, cannot adjust user’s campaigns, so I’m stuck.

I have delayed leveling my DK as he isn't VR level yet, so he can hang out in Blackwater. However, once he is VR 1, I won’t be able to PVP as he is in EP.

Anyone else run into this?

So again, I’d just like the ability to leave a campaign, and not migrate.

Yah i really like to level up normal level by PVP.
Maybe only give a exp bonus when you have one level 50 so people still see the conten ones :)

Actually, you're not stuck. There are 4 campaigns, and only three factions.

So in your situation, move your AD sorc to Azura's Start. Then, move your DC Templar to Thronblade. Then, you can move your AD sorc to Chillrend, to complete the swap.

Even if you have characters in all alliances, if you move the characters on each of your factions to the same campaign, then the remaining fourth campaign has none of your characters. This lets you change campaigns of your characters (although it would take a two step-move if you want to directly swap campaigns between characters).

Good thing we have 4 campaigns, because if there were only 3, then you could get in a situation where you are totally stuck.

Sorc can't move to Azura's Star because it is in use by my DC templar.
But I think I get what your saying, in combine home and guest, which is pretty expensive.
And I also got it backwards on the Sorc, is guest Thornblade, and home Haderus.

So I would move Sorc home to Thornblade, then move Sorc guest to Haderus, then move Sorc Home to Haderus.

Personally, I would just prefer to have an option to leave and not do the above.
It's going to take time and (to me) a not so insignificant AP.

I agree with OP. I have a v14 AD sorcerer I stopped playing due to disinterest, yet I can't remove him from the campaign list for my DC Templar.

Yeah, i don't even know why they need a gold charge of a set amount. They should just have you forfeit all your current AP earned to leave.

Yes, exactly. Just give us the option to leave and not migrate. Certainly sounds like a reasonable cost for leaving.

I have a character in a Campaign that I want to use for a different character. Since I can't abandon Cyrodiil, and CS says to buckle down and enjoy it, I am waiting for ESOTU and the hope that I am booted from the Campaign when they get restructured.

It would help if guesting ended when the campaign ended. You could then guest again or move a character to a different campaign.

    Accounts should be faction-locked anyway.

So no characters are stuck. Someone tried to explain earlier. If you characters are of the same alliance, they can share the campaigns. So move all of your AD characters to the same home. Campaigns are not exclusive to one character, just to one alliance (for a said player) I have all of my AD characters in the same home and guest.

    Now this might be clearer.

Follow me if I advance, Kill me if I retreat, Avenge me if I die.

When this immediate evil power has been defeated, we shall not yet have won the long battle with the elemental barbarities. Another evil, it may be an invisible adversary, will attempt, again, and yet again, to destroy our frail civilization. Is it true, I wonder, that the only way to escape a war is to be in it?

If I die, you are forgiven, If I live, I will kill you.

Make both the Home and Guest campaign for your sorc Haderus. Then move your Templar to Thornblade.

Yeah, as was mentioned above, this is essentially the only answer we have. Although I did mess up on where my home and guest were for my Sorc. Its possible, just costly.

Don't worry, you can always port to player if you want to spy on your old faction without cost.
