    Are you sure it isn't because you are using fire damage on a zombie? Some ennemies like zombies and plant like creatures takes heavy damage from the fire damage proc and also get knocked down when it happens.

    This explains why sometimes when fighting undead I get a super high fire damage pop up, when the only source of fire damage my character has is a piddling weapon enchantment.

    I was getting the same hits on the sand people in Crag i just was having a hard time getting a good screen cap of it because there are a million of them

    From the looks of your hp/magicka, etc. it seems you have max CPs applied. They have already stated the game is not balanced for max CPs, let alone you are fighting a v10 mob at lvl v14.

    Those are not max CP stat numbers at all.

    Heavy attacks do hit hard (and have a significantly faster animation). The more mitigation the creature you're hitting obviously will reduce it, but I don't know if this damage is intended or not. Since creatures at high levels have lots of health it might not be an issue. The wasps in lower Crag have 48k health.

    Perhaps they are finally trying to make builds that rely primarily on weapon attacks viable. Plenty of sets exist in the game that provide an increase or benefit to these attacks but they have been widely shunned by the community. Would be quite nice to see these builds become viable in the interests of diversity.

    I have been on PTS for weeks and am well aware of what hits hard and what does not and what lvl of hp mobs have; this has not changed from live; plenty of people with CPs applied also have those same numbers for hp/magicka. As is, the game on PTS is not balanced for current CP allocation and it has been discussed to death on PTS forum.
