Why is my character spawned at the entrance??!!

I've been playing ESO for about a year now, I took a 2 month hiatus and I've noticed now when you die when trying to defeat the boss guy you start right back of the entrance of mine/cave w/e and ALL the baddies have respawned as well so i have to go through the level again and kill the each one unless sneaking until you get to the main guy. This didnt seem to be a problem until recently you were respawned next to the boss but it's doing my head in. I do have a life outside of eso and its taking much longer to complete quests. Please sort it out!!!

✭There are wayshrines at the entrance of every delve. There always has been. In group dungeons, if you die it'll spawn you at the location of the last boss you killed when you select the Respawn at Wayshrine option.
My advice. Take a breather, stock up on some more soul gems, or grab a friend and hit it hard.

I can't speak to whether it was like this in beta, but from day 1 of the live release it has been this way. That's exactly why soul gems are useful. If you have an appropriate soul gem (or if you've put 1 or more skill points in the right soul magic passive ability) you can respawn where you died. If not, you go back to the nearest wayshrine. If you're in a dungeon or delve, that means the entrance.
