    I know this is a very old thread... but I want to say "thanks" to ZOS for implementing great 3rd-person camera options in the 1.6 patch :) and give credit where it's due.

    I was wondering about this. Pretty much do every time I log in and saw the patch notes mentioning it. It just hadn't rose to the top of things for me to look at yet.

    I think the new max zoom out on PTS is perfect.

    Any more and I feel you start to remove the "action" part of the combat and instead you begin to spill into RTS "overlord" territory.

    So they adjusted the zoom but is it any better with objects between you and your character when zoomed out? I know on siege, sometimes it can be really hard to see where you are aiming and you just cannot get the camera to a good spot.

    I wouldn't use the max zoom all the time, I just like to option to zoom out and see the world around me in more glory.

    I like these ideas.

    Another thing I'd like is to be able to live-toggle "camera follow" for third person (i.e. camera moves as you're turning, instead of your character standing in place as the camera turns until you move forward or backwards).
