Bank Space/Organisation

No, it's not another "I want 1,000,000,000 spaces so I can store everything" thread.

What I would be interested in knowing, however, is how people organise their bank space/items.

Now, I get the Toon Mule thing, and have used them previously, but was wondering if there is anything/anyway better?

I keep looking at my bank WISHING there was some kind of organisation structure (like folders) where I can drop the items into it. I know we have the "tabs" at the top, depending where the item sits in game, but I quite like the idea of being able to create a folder called: v1 gear and can dump all my v1 stuff in there that I want to keep and not delete.

Any thoughts from you folks in terms of organisation?

Tabs would be nice to have. Maybe that's something they will implement in the future.

I have 4 Mules, one for Woodworking/Clothing mats, one for Blacksmithing/Extra Trait/Style mats, one for Alchemy and one for Provisioning.

My 2 Equipment Crafters store their Tempers on their inventory, and my Enchanter stores his Runes in his inventory.

Come 1.6 when we can have stacks to 200 and way less provisioning ingredients, I hope to turn two of the Mule slots into characters. Although I will have to have my equipment crafters carry their own refined mats and use the bank for Trait and Style Gems and gathering raw materials.

I am also going to put the Provisioning mats into the bank as I have several provisioners.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

An account wide Crafting only bank would be great. Either that or increase the number of character slots. As far as organization I use advanced filters and love it.

I have two mules that carry rare set items that I currently don't use (PvP sets, trials sets, boss helmet sets, Ebon, Saviour and Worm Cult, CoH sets, CoA sets, rare vet dungeon sets, rare dark anchor sets, etc.).
I have one mule to carry all my trophies, pets, and costumes.
I have one alchemy mule that carries many stacks of potions (triple-heal, weapon power, and spell power potions).

My bank with maxed bank space is near limit (~225/240) with just materials.

I use the Add-Ons Advanced Filters (new item sub-categories in all item list menues) and Item Saver (lets you mark items you don't want to deconstruct or sell) to help with item management :)

Well, let's see. My shared bank is strictly for provisioning items and items waiting in queue for research, as well as storing items temporarily before logging in my mule characters to grab them.

Mule #1: Blacksmithing items & enchanting runes.
Mule #2: All other crafting items and materials, except for alchemy.
Mule #3: Alchemy ingredients, fishing bait, disguises, costumes, trophies, and other special items I want to keep (like pets).

For mats I don't use, I wait until I have a stack of them, then put them on the market.

Advanced filters helps a lot also the 1.6 release will help a lot...some items will be consolidated like provisioning mats. Additionally stack size will increase significantly and finally due to the shift from horse training to rider training each character will gain an additional 50+ potential maximum inventory size.

Last man standing in a dead guild, so guild bank is all mine. I stuff it with items of little value like lockpicks, racial stones, ingredients.

Private guild bank. I paid 9 people 100 gold a day (700g per week) to join and stay in my private bank guild.
They all eventually quit the the game so I now have my 500 spaces for 0 gold a day :)
    Highly recommended!

This - I organize the same way! Can't wait till I can use some of the mule slots for actual toons that i can play!

There is no way to keep anything organized without at least 3 dedicated mule toons.

Folders would be great. I'd also love a way to mark items "do not deconstruct."

I'd like to see an add-on that organizes the withdrawal window from A-to-Z, rather than the default Z-to-A.

Quality Sort's nice... it doesn't do that in any way shape or form, but, you know.

You CAN just click on the Name tab in your inventory to reverse the sort, sticking it where it's supposed to be, though.
