If you don't care about what is happening in a guild that YOU are a part of... Why are you even in one? Just find a nice dead guild or solo.
    Good luck.

    You must be new here....

I'm in 5 guilds (2500 people) and if any person from any of my guilds completes the trial, I will get a notification telling me that single person completed it. Hope that explains it.

I simply want to turn off the notification.

I love your "dont like it dont play it" approach.

Well, I know for me, the notifications came from my old trading guild where one or two members are also in a hard core trial guild. So... I don't even know these guys. I might have sold potions to them, but that's about it. And, I don't particularly care what they do with them.

Your comment comes across as slightly ignorant in itself. People join trade guilds. I don't care what the masses in my trade guilds accomplish, I just want them to buy my bugloss :p

That is my issue with it. I have no clue who out of the five guilds I am in did it. So why should I even care at that point?

There's a lot of that these days . A option to turn off notifications should of been standard at launch . While I was Beta testing I never went through the guild options much but I know this has been a issue many have brought up to ZOS already . I hope it gets fixed with a toggle option .

People have been combining about these Notifications since they were implemented in Update 1 back in May. It has been nine months and ZOS still has not given us an option to disable these Notifications. That should tell you everything you need to know about any future prospects for this option.

The only way we will ever see these notifications disabled will be if ZOS can find a way to implement the option in the cash shop because that is all that matters to them now.

This is why we can't have nice things ....

Someone has to argue over keeping some annoying irrelevant trivial game option that wouldn't effect their life one bit if a option was put in not to have it on .

I think it is funny as the game has so many other issues that effect my game play getting a notification is not one of them seems trivial to me, but that is my opinion.

A small off to the side message would be fine. But when it takes up the whole center screen it is distracting and annoying.

It's the system that's annoying. Constantly flicking you in the ear saying, "hey, listen, cool stuff just happened for someone you don't know or care about." There's much bigger issues, but this one is just perpetually there.

Low hanging fruit that ZoS chooses to let addon developers take care of. It's great for PC until a major update destroys the addon that is used as a fix to a VERY easily solved problem ZoS has. Also console users don't get the easy out. Annoying your brand new player base with trial notifications can't be a good thing, can it?

I'm amused by the number of people in this thread that seemingly failed to notice that AshySamurai's repeated "No, Thank You" comments were actually links to an addon that exactly solves this problem (and many other annoying UI issues).

are you kidding me, just because i want a bunch of great people to play with and have a community to easily get groups does not mean I want twenty messages a day saying at least 1 person out of all my guilds completed a trial. maybe your in a guild that dosent do much endgame content but after 20 messages a day id bet 99% of players in heavily active trials guilds would at least like an option to switch it off.
