We are currently investigating issues some players are having logging into the European PC/Mac megaserver. We will update as new information becomes available.

There Needs to be a LIMIT on how many CP's or the CP system will END the game.

Can u imagine people with pc transfers to console with all the cp gained pvping against all the new players. I already see console pvp dying less than a month

ZOS will be attempting to do what really hasn't been done before. An MMO on a console.

If someone is V14 you would think hes skilled enough not to demand huge advantages over other players and let the skill talk.
    Is CP an advantage? Yes.
    Is it insurmountable? No.
That's the point I was trying to make.
Let the skill do the talking.

Don't worry, I'm sure the new players won't be spoiled enough to demand instant gratification as soon as they set foot in Cyrodiil.

The point you were trying to make is you want a crutch. But as someone already said, serious pvpers already left, and AvA will remain to be as it is in other similar MMOs - sideattraction for PvEers where they can show off their awsome gear and compare......CP.

The other RvR game is already miles ahead and getting a lot of love in upcoming expansion. Guess what will people play. And guess what they dont have - crutches.

Unfortunately, true. I play this game with my wife, and I will continue to play the game as long as I am having fun. She isn't huge into pvp yet. There is another title which is coming that will likely take me away from ESO. I would like to stay, but if they aren't serious about making this game ..... good. Then I will leave to a better game. A better pvp game. But, I totally agree with what you said Ballzy, those are obvious true facts as this point.

Then go play that game? I don't get why you're complaining. Are you a new player, or do you not want to put in the work? It's called progression. Everyone said that the Veteran levels, which used to have MASSIVE xp canyons would break PvP. Didn't happen. If ZOS had raised the level cap to 100, I doubt anyone would be asking for a cap or calling level 100 a crutch. If it looks like a crutch to you, then it probably will be. To me it looks like a way to stay competitive with my peers, V14's, not beat up lowbies. If I wanted to beat up lowbies, I would play on Blackwater.

The problem is, that when you create a grind that is too large, new players leave. That is simply how it works in MMO's. ZOS is learning, I am afraid they will have to learn the hard way and watch ESO go down the tubes. Just because they don't realize just like with the VR system, that most people...really don't want to grind forever. A certain amount of grind is to be expected in an MMO. You should be rewarded for a certain amount of grind, but eventually the grind has to end at a certain point.

In the end, I think we agree. ZOS has instituted a poorly thought out system that doesn't really enhance end-game content, just extend it. They released a half-finished game, and last April endgame content was listed as ????????. I don't think CP will be the monster everyone thinks it will be, and there's plenty of time for ZOS to do some tweaking. The new players wouldn't be so disadvantaged if ZOS had an effective way to sort PvP by level or champion rank. Unfortunately, I think they're going to continue in this fashion: applying band-aids and quick fixes where they need systemic overhaul. Or spell crafting. Yeah, actually spell crafting would have solved all this.

    Giblets N Bits - V2 Imperial Nightblade

We agree. I mean the CP system could be good if implemented correctly. It is not content, and certainly not spell crafting. It's not going to motivate people like they want it to for years to come. It's just going to create a gap between players as time goes on.

Overall, what you say is really true at this point unfortunately. Overhaul, that is what is needed. Not a band-aid after a mistake is made. People get tired of poorly implemented systems. Not too mention lack of content which was promised. That subject is another thread entirely.
