It has been a hallmark of ESO to punish players for their in-game accomplishments.

Like introducing the Nirnhorne trait so that leveling another crafter from scratch had you selling research gear at 12k a pop in hours, while researching on a master crafter meant waiting 30 days...

Or how about the undaunted debacle?

Yeah. Either they intentionally punish loyal subscribers or they don't know the mechanics of their own game. You pick.

Since my Main is VR14 and completed the zones I would like to see the option to reset all quests in these areas so that I can earn some CP without haveing to level new characters so my min can have the CP.

its really fast to level to 50 why not just burn through it and when your done have another class to play with?

you can level to 50 10X faster then you will get a reply for that request. seems more efficient.

you mean power level and skip all the content you can. I don't do things that way I take my time and clear everything I can on a map.

and even if I were to do that the time I spent with my alts is time I'm not spending with my main character so it slows down his skill development.

Also, expect there to be lots of things to do in the DLC zones.

    What DLC zones?

Wrothgar was announced almost a year ago and absolutely won't be released until after console release, and nobody has the slightest inkling how long after that it will be.

They have not announced any other zones outside of Imperial City, which I'm sure will have xp-giving content, but will be mainly focused on PvP and also won't be released until after consoles.

This is like saying that there doesn't need to be any real xp in the game for VR14s because a year from now there will be something to do. Maybe. Hopefully.

Agreed...i'd also like to option to do the level 1-5 zones (in my case AD) as veteran level. Just reset it all. This will also help populate zones to help up-coming newbies get help!
    Reften
    Bosmer (Wood Elf)
Moonlight Crew (RIP), Misfitz (RIP), Victorem Guild

VR16 NB, Stam build, Max all crafts.

Azuras & Trueflame. Mostly PvP, No alts.

Semi-retired till the lag is fixed.

Love the Packers, Bourbon, and ESO...one of those will eventually kill me.

That's why there are things called grinds. Also, the Cyrodiil dailies give a ton of exp. Also, expect there to be lots of things to do in the DLC zones.

I have one word to say about Grinding and the Cyrodiil dailies: "BORING!!!"

I couldn't agree more. When I was gunning for my Cyrodiil Adventurer achievement, I was maxing out my Cyrodiil dailies.

These quests are so mundane, so formulaic, so mind-numbingly trite that you want to claw out your own eyeballs.

"Things which are alike in nature grow to look alike, and the speaking stones have lain a long time lookin' at the sun. Some believe they descend with the lightning, but I believe they are on the ground and are projected downward by the bolt."

I can't imagine playing a game where I had to do Cadwell's silver and gold again. I'm about halfway through gold and I've already decided I have no interest in doing it on any alts (though I'll have to for the skill points I guess)

Where the pooched is screwed is the fact that they didn't account for the dedication of a few players that literally completed ALL of C s an g. I don't mean those that cored quest line them, I mean like me and my bud that did ALL quests in ALL zones to get our 14. We did it on two toons each yet! It should be easy to tell us apart, the achievements dictate those that do everything available, against those that pick and choose. I was a little miffed about this, because there was ZERO incentive to do it, so it would be appropriate to give us a jump on champion status. But whatever, I have a third toon waiting and doing nothing beyond 50 so I will get there faster anyhow since I know what to expect.

I'm a completionist I had to go finish every quest I could find

I literally cannot pass up on any quest. When I find one I missed on an alt of mine, I have to go back with all other characters and do the quest... the nagging feeling of missing something just won't let me go "meh, fuggeddaboudit" ;)
...naturally that applies to all of cadwells too. Whenever there is a quest marker on the compass, I go and do it.

Still wouldn't want to reset and do them all over again on characters that had already done them.

I'd think, ESO would be better served with a lot more daily stuff that lets us revisit completed maps with new objectives...

I leveled my VR14 without doing a single cadwell quest, vet delve, dolmen, or WB because of the upcoming champion system. You should have done the same! :cold_sweat:

My main was VR 14 last august I had no clue this change was coming or that they were not going to keep tracking our XP as promised

It's better then the 30 C-points they had been considering before the "5 per V-rank"

But hey, one way or another, we'll earn our C-points. Just... it would be better is we had more ways...

I've leveled one other toon to vr1, saving all fighters/mage guild quests and main story quest for post-1.6, but it sucks that we have to do things like that to have vet content available for champion exp. No new content until after console release either :(

VR ranks will be removed at the end of the champion system, so you'll get your wish. And by then silver and gold will be entirely optional...

But I for one will still enjoy doing them, and so will many other questers. So there are enough people who don't want to see them gone.

We still also want more content, of course...
