Can someone clear this up for me please?
I've heard 2 versions and would like to know which is known/believed to be right.
1) If you have 1 x vr14 character - then all your other characters automatically get the equivalent CP's
2) The CP conversion ONLY applies to the one character you have. The others need to earn all CP's as normal and get nothing.

✭✭✭✭✭It's two things that are both correct but misinterpreted when considered together. Attempting to clarify in reverse:
2) CP conversion can convert a maximum of 70 CPs. If you have a VR14 with +1,000,000 XP, then all your converted CPs will come only from that character.
Conversion of XP to CP only works on a per-character basis, but once converted, they go into the account-wide CP pool.
1) All characters will receive the 70 CPs. Only one character was needed to trigger the conversion cap, but all characters will get the benefits.

As I understand it, CPs are accountwide. That is, every character in the veteran ranks contributes to the amount of CPs that you can spend on your chars. What I'm not sure about is whether spending CPs on a char subtracts the amount used from your total amount of CP. But, I recall that this is not the case, i.e., if you earn 20 CPs for your V4 char with the conversion, then all you can spend those 20 CPs on all your toons, no matter their level.1 -
