    Advanced Filters
I can live without most of my addons but two are an absolute must for how I play.
Greymind Quickslot allows me to hot key and thus pick a potion most appropriate to my situation or to quickly drop a siege engine appropriate to the situation. The siege engine selection is a touch of luxury I will admit but I hot key stone ballista, meatbag catapult and firepot trebuchet and that saves me time if I suddenly need to switch to anti-personnel.
As a guild leader/guild crafter/quartermaster, I must manage tons and tons of materials. My own 20 hireling mails every 12 hours plus 16 or so writs per day. I also have a few guildmates that deposit their hireling and writ results in the guild bank. I shuffle close to 100 slots of stuff every day. No way would that be possible without a inventory filter addon. I used to use Advanced Filters but I have switched to Circonian's FilterIt.

I'm an alt-aholic so for me it's Binder and the chat box equivalent (they let you copy one characters key binds, chat tabs and colour scheme to any other character). I'd spend so much time setting up each character without them.

A mini map is also nice to have because I have a terrible sense of direction, but I can live without it.

Bad analogies are bad, but I guess when you're trying to defend ZOS against any and all criticism they have to suffice.

I don't use add-ons because I don't want to get used to using one only to find it becomes orphaned when the writer leaves the game.

Just go look at ESOUI and see just how many of them haven't been updated for months and likely no longer work. It's crass for ZOS to push add-ons as a way to get a decent PC MMO UI instead of it being 'in the box' .. hell, even trivial but IMO vital facilities like copying keybinding from one character to the rest isn't in the standard game.

I don't know how some of you play without seeing your damage/healing numbers.

I usually play to get better, and at end game those improvements usually come in smaller increments. Being able to tell when my attacks are hitting for 50 more damage is important to me.

A close second if you care about crafting at all is some type of trait research assistant add-on. I guess you could write it all down manually to keep track of everything, but 1995 called and it wants its notepad back.

Bank Manager. I would seriously not enjoy playing as much without it. My main is a woodcrafter / clothier, my primary alt is a blacksmith / enchanter, and my secondary alt is a provisioner / alchemist. I have two additional mules, one for PvP stuffs, and the other holds pets, trophies, bait, etc.

I log on in the morning with each character and all the bags and the bank sort itself out.

The three that I play with have adventuring and storage profiles.

How can you do any of that without BankManager? You'd be spending half your time sorting your inventory issues out.

    Exactly.

And I don't even know why Zenimax isn't bringing up the option for showing numbers. Why do we have tooltip numbers when we actually can't see them? It's dumb.

Today it's a little known add-on named Binder. It saves your keyboard/mouse bindings so you can reload them for another or new character. Since I built a new computer this weekend, complete with gaming mouse and keyboard, it's saved me so much time as I play with key settings, etc.

But coming in a very close second is Wykkyd's Suite. Really, really awesome - so awesome it deserves support!

    I don't find a need for addons.

You guys missed the point. Would you go on a poll asking for an opinion on the best dungeon and say "You don't need dungeons, they aren't required or necessary"?
But the poll is titled "This is the Addon I cannot do without". It's not asking which is the best addon, it's asking which one they cannot do without. If you don't find the need to use any addons, then "none" is a completely valid answer to that question.

Actually, I probably should have given that answer myself, as there really isn't any addon that I couldn't do without. There are a few that I like a lot, and that I miss a lot when they aren't there (primarily Advanced Filters, and the mini-map one that I use - I forget what it's called), but I could do without them. They make my life easier, but I don't need them.

I would have picked none but it wasn't an options so I picked my pick which is none.

I'm still laughing because when I saw the topic header I JUST KNEW the first posts would be dismissive of add-ons in general.

No Thank You saves me endless irritation.

ESO Theater makes the game more fun for me. Yes, I know there are other emote queuing add-ons too.

Banker Shut Up is a must for me.....yes, I'm a grumpy old man but who can forget (but wants to) the reason for the first of these, aptly named Borrower and Lender?

But most of all, Wykknd Outfitter....oh Wykknd....why are you leaving us *sobs*

Thank you for mentioning Bank Manager! I've been looking for an addon just like that, and was even considering trying to write it myself.

I chose one of them but really, there are several I couldn't live without. It would actually be impossible to narrow it down to a single must-have addon.

The only reason I didn't pick FTC is there are other addons that could provide the functionality that I use.

But Advanced filters should be default, I don't see why we need an add-on for that.

And although I'm now a master crafter, Research Assistant saved me countless hours. If you're questing for your research traits and not using this addon, you're straight up wasting time.
