Bottom Left - Pathetic worm with no chance of surviving a fight with a Skeever
Top - Finally back to where you are now, can do trials and arena (not veteran)
Right - Tremble before me mortals for I have forsaken mortal life in primary world to ascend as a God in Tamriel.
I cannot agree with you. I thought the same way just 1 month ago, but this weekend I did more testing on the PTS and I soloed normal DS to level 6-7 with DK and NB with 20k HP and 70CP. Yes it takes time because my DPS is not the best, around 6k but it is manageable.Bottom Left - Pathetic worm with no chance of surviving a fight with a Skeever

The big problem again will be the PvP balance. Because glass cannon builds can hit like a truck now and a lot casual players will die before even react. Turtle builds can tank 5-6 people and so on. And then the nerf crying will start.
I agree with you that a gap between the players will be created in the future. Probably 500 CP will be enough if you switch for DPS, Tank or Heal passives.I cannot agree with you. It's about the difference caused by the amount of CP on the stats alone.
You also get other passives like heal on bashes, better heals etc.
And it's already a huge difference without any passives you get..
Of course I'm able to do PvE with 70 CP, but a Player with 900 CP does it far more easy, the gap between new and long time players is just to huge.. It kinda feels like an Asia Grind.
You need these points to get accepted in good grps and you can basically see them as levels.
The gap will be massive in the future. Maybe Zos has plans to sell Champion Points in the Crown Store.....

It won't affect you right now. You should be at least VR1 in order to earn CP. But the skill changes will affect you as the new ultimate generation and buff system.gerg04ub17_ESO wrote: »I'm totally lost on this whole system. But, I have one character level 24. Sat at level 17 from July until last week when I started playing again. So my question: does/will all of this Champion System stuff affect me at all or is it more for people already in Veteran rank?

Right, you need roughly 900 points to get back where you're already at on live right now.
Happy grinding to stay competitive
