Alchemy farmers, please don't skip nodes. This is common sense...

the main issue i have are people not taking worms and other fishing baites from nodes.
had a run yesterday where every coldharbor node was only containing worms ...

Right, every node. Given the high level of mushrrom nodes in Coldharbor (which NEVER contain worms), I find that hard to believe.

Is someone aware of an Addon that allows this? (Taking only the flower and not the worms or crawlers or plump worms) I don't believe any players are wasting time NOT using auto loot, so unless there is a bot or an Addon; this just isn't a big problem.

Clearly you have not seen/harvested in Craglorn...lol... There are more than enough times daily, let along weekly, where I've come across nodes with crawlers and worms in them.

I harvest there all the time (AD). Never found one. What sane players would waster the time not having auto-loot on to "save" 3 inventory spots? If you are than person, please respond! IF you are a bot, please respond too ;)

People being choosy about which plants they pick isn't even on my radar when compared to people leaving worms, and the arse that sees fit to wait until after you are attack the mob next to a desired node to run in and snatch said node while you are fighting. Both of which should be considered griefing....

Solve those 2 issues, then we can talk abt ppl picking and choosing which nodes to grab.

GRIEFING! You have no idea what the word means. You clearly are confusing opportunistic and convienent (both positive things) with a negative word.

I suppose my sprinting faster to a node than you is griefing too!

I had no idea there was a philosophy behind farming nodes. But I'll do this when I'm out.

Other than that how about being able to have a personal garden? Is that coming down the road?

    Oh, so you're a sprinter ;)

The most "grief" I get is from ZOS-lag. I see a node, start to harvest it only to get "Someone else is using that"

    No...

And then someone arrives and starts harvesting!

And then somehow they beat me to the next node!!

Really, if this kind of thing angers you, or you get upset when someone "ruins" your farming experience, then you need to harvest those worms and spend some time chilling out fishing. :)

I'll leave bait worms everytime as long as my inventory space is this limited.

*looks sad* I miss the LOLs. In all honesty I don't see why there's any argument, everyone plays differently and approaches the game from a different direction. The only person who's post on here offered any evidence for a POV was lordrichter who, as far as I could tell, was pointing out it didn't really make a difference in some circumstances.
Oooh look, lot's of Butterflies! Wait! Butterflies? Get out of here Sheo, stop bugging me!

There is not really any argument here, but the OP is completely right in pointing out the foolishness of skipping nodes.

I just logged on and made a round through the Hollow City. 90 % of the herbs were Wormwood or Dragonthorn. The two people running around all skipping them, even when running right past such a node... as they only left the snips for others to take, they themself ended up having no more nodes to farm. And still they dont pick up those other herbs.
