Idea for pvp bonuses in pve

Hello,

I have an idea for the developpement team about pvp bonuses in pve.

What about to check if the player has been active on the campaign (easy you need need to check the ap earned) and only give the bonuses in pve for the players that are realy active on their pvp campaign.

Isn't that a good idea ?

It doesn't matter. If you don't have a campaign picked, you don't get any bonuses. If you do have a campaign picked, then you're tying yourself to your faction's success there. If you're not getting bonuses, then maybe you should get up and help. If you are, then the system is working as intended and people are fighting and dying to give you +5% dps.

Because pvp bonus in pve must be a motivation to win in pvp.

They want to remove pvp bonuses un pve, i think my idea is better.

PvP bonuses need to be removed from PvE entirely. When you enter Cyrodiil, you get the campaign bonus. When you leave Cyrodiil, the bonus goes bye bye. Simple.

I am not sure how the bonuses from PVP unbalance the PVE side? What is the negative impact that makes removing them necessary? If you are in a group that has someone who is "boosted" by them, you see healers that can heal better, or DPS that hits harder, and the group has better success. If you don't have one of them, then how would you even see that you are missing it? I just don't see the downside to the PVE environment.

The guild I belong to is really active in a VET and a non Vet campaign. They visit others, but the Home campaign they really keep a presence. Whenever those bonuses get lost, the call goes out, and hoards of us join in to get them back. It encourages team work, interaction, etc. Unless you are the loser in that specific campaign, I don't see how me having the bonus and someone else not (outside of that specific campaign) effects anyone else's game play.

Perhaps someone could point out what I might be missing?
Follow me if I advance, Kill me if I retreat, Avenge me if I die.

When this immediate evil power has been defeated, we shall not yet have won the long battle with the elemental barbarities. Another evil, it may be an invisible adversary, will attempt, again, and yet again, to destroy our frail civilization. Is it true, I wonder, that the only way to escape a war is to be in it?

If I die, you are forgiven, If I live, I will kill you.

This was asked ages before. I am going to say it again. NO! forcing people to actively PvP for buffs in Cyrodiil just doesn't work. They will only do the bare minimum and leave, on the other hand if they have nothing better to do and feel like they should want those buffs to help with PvE then they can obviously organize a much larger raid to support others in Cyrodiil.

Finally do I really need to mention the population cap and lag problems with larger amounts of players in one large burst?

Cyrodiil is open ended PvP zone that never ends there are going to be some huge discrepancies throughout the week till the week end hits and most PvE guilds are in the 30 day campaign.

    You aren't missing anything, @Morshire .

What if your home campaign is capped?
What if you are having latency concerns in Cyrodiil?

Actually I think they just need to make PvP awards more compelling, more PvP campaigns, and you'll see a lot more people which will make it more active. The main complaints about PvE side getting PvP bonuses is that the PvP side feels that PvE doesn't earn the bonuses... so then the bonuses are lost and then what's their argument? You earn PvP bonuses so everyone in your faction gets a bonus. It's not an individual effort for individual gains.

Best way to negate PvP arguments and concerns is to have end game PvE trials and bonuses to share with the PvP bonuses. This will get PvE'ers into Cyrodiil to do the PvE content and give bonuses to their home campaign. PvPer's clear and hold a Keep while the PvE'ers enter into the keep's bowels as an instanced dungeon to clear out some Boss in a Trial type fashion.

I have a nice idea! I would say it's best idea for PvP bonuses ever! Make them nerfs instead of buffs outside of PvP! In PvP your stats increased. In PvE your stats reduced by the same amount. Solved!
    Make sweetrolls, not nerfs!
