How many stam only builds will have 300 days...

i will have 270 and while i dont care about the 'loyalty' reward I'm curious as to how many predominantly stam builds will have played for 300 days.

The ingenius release day design i imagine will allow for loyalty to equate to those who prefer magicka builds. But of course i could be wrong....

.... I disagree, as saying I chose to gimp myself by ignoring most of the skills in the game and thus I didn't stay subed since early on isn't really a convincing argument. Magic is rather pervasive in the world and is as much about the convinction to learn it as anything else.

Also I'm fairly sure the bonus is you have subbed 300 days not you have been playing the same character everyday for 300 days.

It's not convincing for you. Many people stopped playing this game due to the design imbalance.

While I'm happy they finally worked it out i find it quite funny they reward those people who persisted with the game where they probably used magicka builds to remain loyal.

My original post stands I'm curious to see if any people who mainly used weapon skills will be getting a 'loyalty' reward.

Been a Stamina DK since early access, my sub hasn't lapsed once, so I'm over the 300days paid, since I've bought two 180day subs. Even with the removal of the 180 day sub, since mine never lapsed, it keeps recurring on the 180 day marker, at least for now.

cool did you use dk skills? and if so which ones? e.g. dragon's blood, talons, flame lash.

Of course I did, who uses 100% weapon skills? lol :p Every build has to use mag and stam to some extent. I've toyed around with all the skills a good bit, but my DPS comes from Bow and Dual Wield, only using magicka skills for buffs or healing, really. Occasionally I'll drop another class skill on the bar if I think it's effects suit the situation, such as a DoT, or Scales.

FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

I also has been using "crappy, gimped, poopy, noobish" "warrior" builds (I say "warrior" because I prefer that term instead of "stamina" which is misleading). Been in ESO since Betas, pre-ordered, been there in pre-launch and to this day always subbed.

I had mostly good times and overall a fine gaming experience, since I don't give a flying pink elephant about the "elitist pros" and their "uber Harry Potter mages" (because for ages this had been the "in thing"). And just because the "crowd" mostly wears bathrobes and holds broomsticks doesn't mean everyone is required to copycat. Thankfully, it was always possible in ESO to ignore the crapola about Trials and "wow, 0.1 more dps!, 0.01 less seconds!!!!! WOW mate!", even if at times it would be a tad frustrating to see that an "archetype" build could be so severely restricted.

And even as a mostly stamina (how else it could be) "warrior using weapons" build, could always throw in the odd class skill, it has never been that terribly bad to make it truly impossible to play, and yes, even have fun.

So yes, the short answer is: when the new era begins, I will have been playing in ESO for more than a year too, a stubbornly inefficient and gimped "warrior - stamina" build.

same here, pure stamina NB duel wield since early beta. the only magicka i played with was for invisibility. you and i are probably a rare breed tho.
the main reason i stuck with this is because of dark brotherhood preperations, and my love of the dark brotherhood since morrowind. i came to eso expecting to see morrowind, Vvardenfell and of course dark brotherhood and thier duel wield dagger using stamina builds so i could fit in with them.

I am a stamina build playing since beta. So yeah i will get the 300 mark easily.

I did switch once to magicka build. It was fun, but i went back to stamina quick. It is just how i played all the other TES games. And i think stamina works well these days, both PvE and PvP.

Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

At first I was dual wield, medium wearing NB for a long time. Then I switched to dual wield, light wearing NB because it made it possible for me to increase my DPS a lot since I liked using class skills. There were really no weapon skill I likes to use but I have always wanted to wield swords, to be warrior or rogue. With swords.

At some point I realised it made no difference what weapons I used to deal damage because I was using mostly class skills. Wearing dual swords or destro dealt the same damage With class skills. Then I realised there were 10% damage boost in resto staff (removed not long ago) so then I started using resto. I still used ambush and concealed weapon followed by impale to wreck everyone in seconds in pvp. Just using resto, not swords which seemed silly but it worked and I had tons of fun killing people so fast thanks to my super high magika and magic damage, which enchanted ALL class skills.

I hope I can return to use swords and maybe even medium armor in the next patch. I am always a sword user by heart but the game forced me to use staff. I don't care if i am magicka based or stamina based, I just wan't to use swords and I don't wan't to wear bathrobes. Luckily, I don't have to since there are lot of medium looking light armors in the game.

I have been subbed from the beginning because I was having fun despite that resto was better suited for my preferred hit and run tactic I use in pvp.

I have been subbed from the beginning playing a DW and Bow NB stamina build. I parked him for a bit rolled a sorceror played that for a bit then went back to my main and been playing him ever since. All medium armour with a light Breton hood just because I liked the look of the hood lol.

    Cheers

I have played a stamina build of one class or another since Beta days and subbed the entire time. You are never forced to play the game a certain way. If you were one of those who ever felt you had to play sticks and skirts to kill anything, then you were shorting yourself. There were and are and will always be viable stamina and magicka builds and tactics. Sometimes they won't be optimized or as competitive as others but if they can get the job done, then they still work. Take it from someone who used to see how many bosses (both story and world) he could shield bash to death while essentially naked.

Meh, I played the whole game through from early with a DW stamina NB. It was fun. I may even stay playing one after 1.6 gimps it all the way back down again.

I've been a stamina Templar since early access and I know I'm not the only one. Switched to magicka to level the staves, then switched back.
