I'd vote for petitioning to get back a sincere "Disagree".

Being babysit, fluff all around us, with some "angels" deciding that the word "Disagree" is too harsh, too politically incorrect and could hurt some ego: this is getting so OLD.

If somebody is controversial or just an utter moron, just let people vote their disagreement.

I agree, even if I most likely would get a lot of them. It serves a purpose.

If it is then eventually we will have no way to remark on a post. The removal of the "lol" is the second in the line of feedback removal due to abuse. If the trend continues there will be nothing left.

How can an opinion flag be abused?
After all they are just that opinions.
Who is to say what is funny or what I agree or disagree with?
All the flags are meaningless with out their counterparts unless everyone is supposed to be sheep and agree.

How about we accept that we lost the button because people were using it to express a lazy form of disagreement instead of for its intended purpose?

There's no need to replace something that shouldn't have filled that purpose in the first place. If you want to disagree with someone, then post your counter-argument. If you don't have a counter-argument, tough.

inightful was a very valueable button back then.
It was rarely given. Only good comments and posts received it.

I think, they have removed the 'LOL' button, because it is like adding 'dislike' to Facebook. However, I want it back
