Why we're all the buttons removed? (Lol, insightful, agree....)

The layout is a positive change but there was nothing wrong with the buttons.
Why not make apps for the forum instead.

We really like those

    Insightful, Agree and Awesome are still there. You just need to be logged in to see them.

    I only see options if I click no to your comment that it's doesn't answer my question....maybe the forums aren't compatible with smartphones ?

    I'm logged in as it's how I'm posting....

    EDIT- I see you can quote too but I cannot on iPhone.....

    Edit: Nope, I don't have the options on my phone either...
    2nd edit: If I hold my finger on the screen near where the buttons should be they show up.

    FYI @ZOS_JessicaFolsom
    Smartphone users cannot see or select the options that appear on PC in the forums.
    When editing our posts some options do show up
    Please look at rolling out iPhone, Droid, Windows Phone apps to your forum OR alliw TapTalk to utilize this forum.

    Everything works fine on my Kindle(insightful, agree, awesome, quote, report), that's what you get for using an iPhone or Windows phone :p

    I'm on a IPad and IPhone and it works fine for me .

    All I can to say: All fine with Android. I can see all emotes and have almost the same functionality (I still missing links insert).

    If I choose yes/no I can see the options only on one
    After a selection is made, the options are gone.

    If I touch something quoted, the options appear only for that one comment. Any comments missing quotes do not reveal options, which is also why I'm not quoting you all.


    I'm on iPhone 5 not 5s or 5c
    And omg I keep turning off email notifications cause this forum update turned them on....maybe it's time for another game.

    Brb after deleting more emails




    EDIT:
    I have to slide the screen over....touch the persons portrait next to their name....then slide back to see the options.

    Not a fan of the forum changes....

    On the iPad, all the buttons including the ability to quote are gone for me too. I can scroll to the bottom and post bu no other buttons show up

    Correction, as per the post a few above me you have to tap the portrait to see the buttons

    The same reason Star Trek Online tightened up policing of its forums when it went F2P.

    Also because Cryptic / PWE doesn't want anything to allude to negative feedback. I remember droves of people being banned day 1 of the new forums change / rules just because they made small negative comments (even constructive ones).

    Here's to hoping ZOS doesn't go full Cryptic.

    You have no idea how right you are.

    This whole "easyness" is screaming Console players. If they cant see what they want right away, they go "bleh" and play GTA 5.

    Things are what they are, but its getting annoying how much stuff effects us negative just so console players will be interested in ESO.

    Maybe in Aug-sep when -most- (not all) console players have moved on to other games, things will be better again. Oh, Console players will love ESO and buy every single DLC and whatever the Crownstore has to offer. And that's actually good for us. They simply will not stay in the longer term. We do.....

    Let's see how it goes. ZoS HAVE shown that they do listen to us... A BIT.
